Austens Apartments

A great location and spotlessly clean, the decor is being refreshed but everything in the apartment was well serviced. (No broken bits) we got a parking space and easy access to flat. We met one of the new owners who was very amiable and easy to talk too. The lady on the phone was also very helpful. I got my deposit back also.

The wifi was awful which is apparently pretty standard for Torquay but it’s being upgraded to fibre optic now so should be much better for next time.

Location is great.Lift is working.Size of apartment is good.

There were no frying pan,no toiletries.Wifi is very weak.Was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night.Noise came from the passing by cars and motorbikes.

The reception by Jo was great, prompt response, apartments just 10 minutes walk to the beach and mall. Awesome.

Nothing caught my eye negatively

Its Alright, location wise its about 10 mins walk to the beach but its bit slop (steep) so makes it feel tiring and longer. Property was quite clean comfortable.

we were in apartment number 2, which is s basement apartment, when we reached there, our phone network was completely down and the wifi at the property was not working either. we asked the host to help us with wifi as we were completed blocked, even to check whats around or order food, we had to go out of the building in the car park to use ot phone, when asked host to help with that, his reply was its a basements apartment and so they have a problem with network and wifi in there and so that is the cheapest property, we found that quite rude as we paid you what you asked for, we didnot bargain or anything so thats wasnt right for you to say the guest that way, other thing is if that is the obvious and permenant problem he have, it shuld have been mentioned on the site so we can know before hand what are we booking. he only mentioned it a basement apartment and in facilities wifi is mentioned, obviously no one is gonna assume that your wifi will not be working as well. It was rude and unprofessional.
