Rose Street - Watchmakers Apartment

Ubicación perfecta, muy céntrica y muy fácil de llegar desde aeropuerto. El apartamento era tal y como se mostraba en las fotos, y la comunicación e indicaciones de lo anfitriones fueron rápidas, fluidas y claras. Es un primer piso (no ascensor) con dos habitaciones suficientes (éramos 4 adultos), cocina y baño completo. La calefacción muy fácil de controlar a demanda

Al ser tan céntrico es un poco ruidoso, pero se puede descansar y dormir sin mayor problema. Para nuestro gusto las almohadas eran un poco duras, pero eso es muy personal...

L'emplacement est super on a pu faire tout a pied et en bus, l'appartement est bien agencé et agréable. Nous avons séjourné en Décembre et le chauffage central rend le séjour encore plus confortable. L'équipe est réactive quand il y a des questions ou un problème.

However, overall the experience was very disappointing and felt poorly managed. From the beginning there was a lack of coordination — the key that was supposed to be in the lockbox was missing, and we had to wait outside in the cold for around 20 minutes before it was sorted out. The apartment itself feels old, poorly maintained, and not very clean despite its central location. The building and flat look quite neglected. There were also several “cost-saving” rules that made the stay uncomfortable and stressful. The heating (radiators) was turned off, and there were strict warnings about using towels or linens, implying extra charges if anything was “misused.” Even toilet paper was extremely limited, which created an uncomfortable feeling during the stay. Overall, it felt like everything was designed around minimizing usage rather than providing a comfortable guest experience, which negatively affected our mood during the trip. Noise was another major issue. The windows are old and single-glazed wooden frames, so you can hear everything from outside. Rose Street is extremely noisy at night and early morning, with shops unloading goods and delivery trucks starting very early. On top of that, there was construction work on the neighbouring building with scaffolding, which woke us up around 6 AM. Because of all this, sleep quality was very poor throughout our stay.
