Tolle Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern, Grosser Küchentisch

Ein 2tes Bad wäre schön gewesen...

Die Größe war das Highlight und die große Küche. Lage auch ideal mit großem Supermarkt (Esselunga) in der Nähe und nah am Zentrum. Es war soweit sauber und ordentlich dort. Self-CheckIn hat auch gut geklappt. Ich würde trotzdem nicht wiederkommen, siehe unten...

Also wir waren über Silvester da, und der Preis (450€ für 3 Nächte) schien uns etwas zu hoch für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Also ja, zu Silvester ist alles teuer, trotzdem mies. Denn: es riecht immer etwas nach Keller. Und das Doppelbett ist recht unbequem, vor allem die Kopfkissen sind das Problem. Zudem ist es fußkalt, weil nirgendwo Teppiche sind, sondern nur kalte Fliesen. Ist vielleicht gut im Sommer, aber im Winter blöd. Sorry, aber da kam dann einfach kein Wohlbefinden auf!

Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. I inadvertently broke a clay flower pot and offered to pay to replace it and the owner graciously refused and did not make a big deal of it which I appreciated. Although we were in mid-May and the central heating system was off, the temperature in Lucca was much colder and damp than usual, so the owners provided us the remote control so that we could use the electrical systems to heat a few rooms to a comfortable temperature. The apartment is extremely well situated, within a few minutes' walking distance to the walled city. It is super clean and had all we needed to cook simple meals.

Loved staying here, everything you need on your doorstep. Lots of local shops, bakeries & restaurants nearby & in the city itself, which is only a few mins walk. There were also bikes to use if wanted. Great location & lovely hosts. I will be back!
