Very clean and centrally located. When I needed to call the host, he was very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning didn’t get as cold as I would’ve liked (but, then again, we were staying in Porto during an extremely hot spell!)

Exceptional apartment. Modern and very clean . Kitchen had all the necessary equipment. There was a convenience store a few minutes walk away...selling everything required . Bring own tea coffee etc Lovely Indian restaurant 2 minutes walk away. Bathroom good size with bath and shower and plenty of hot water. 1 lot of towels issued. Luckily they dried quickly. We had an issue with the toilet but the owner was there in less than an hour and it was fixed. Bar of soap available in the bathroom. Comfortable bed with 1 pillow. ( 2 would have been better for us personally),Could get busy outside early due to rubbish collection but this is just for awareness rather than the owners fault. Place very secure . Outside door opened by code and all this information sent by WhatsApp by owner. Roughly 20 minutes walk to the centre ( hilly routes ) but 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Metro cheap. Buy a daily or trip ticket. Daily was 3.45 euro approximately depending on zone. Prices for zones clearly marked by payment machine. Metro was clean and easily accessible. But make sure you tap your ticket card before embarking on your journey ( Andante card ). Owner was easily contactable and gave suggestions of places to eat etc. Do try the Portuguese tarts ..absolutely delicious. We were in Porto 4 nights. Plenty to see. Went to Foz do Douro for a walk along the promenade..really beautiful. Caught the bus out but be aware buses aren't always reliable.. they do turn up but not always on time. Caught metro in from the airport.. zone 5 ticket and airport bus back at 2 am due to flight times ..goes every hour as metro finishes 1 am . Allow plenty of airport time as its quite big. Airport bus was less than 5 minutes walk from apartment. 2.45 euro ..meet by blue pole near the tourist information booth the opposite side of the square. Enjoyed our stay.

Nothing. Would stay again. Just take into consideration that its a bit out of the main area.

Communication with the host was impeccable — quick, clear, and always helpful. The apartment was high-quality and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — convenient, easy to get around, and close to everything.
