Maxine & Bruce were wonderful hosts. Maxine was super responsive. At one point in our stay, I mentioned something and like 5 minutes later, Bruce was in the driveway dropping it off!The private lake was great. The grandkids loved fishing. We also did the golf cart to make it easier to get back & forth between the lake & house. Soooooooooooo glad we got the cart as the boys raved about it. Oh yeah, they might have told me to slow down sometimes!The humans and the 2 dogs with us, loved seeing/watching the cows. Its like we haven't seen cows before. But this time they were sooooooooooo close!The house has lablels on almost everything making it sooooooooo easy to get situated and how things worked. If you're looking got a place that's secluded, a little different, a little unique and thoroughly enjoyable, give Morningstar Cottage a try!

It was a nice place to stay and close to Wester'sFamily vineyard and winery where my nephew was married. Had a great time watching the cows, cooking out and walking to the lake.

It was a lovely farm setting and the hosts were wonderful. It is not a lake house. The lake is quite a long walk with several very heavy gates to lift and move. You absolutely must rent the golf cart. The house itself is in need of some updates/repairs. But again, the farm was pretty and the hosts were great people.
