The ladies from the reception were really nice! Loved the quiet street of the hostel, the big bathtub, the comfy bed, the closeness to city center and atractions...

No curtains for the upper beds, not fare for the ones who are sleeping on it All the electrical plugs are located near the lower bed; none are located near the upper bed. They only want people to lie on the beds during the day. We found our bath towels in the bathroom. We weren't informed of this at check-in; it was only afterwards that I noticed it was written in Portuguese on an A4 sheet at the entrance of the hostel. Furthermore, if you don't respect this rule, they reserve the right to charge you €5! So before to ask people to hang towels, make sure you have at least 8 hooks per room!! The price for a night is a bit high for a hostel Toilets and bathtub in the same place in the room for more than 8 persons as people from other rooms come to use it, obviously, we don't need a bathtub, two showers with partition walls, separate from the toilets, could be installed!

Good location, close to the city centre and a quiet place. Good kitchen facilities and social area.

Few bathrooms. There was also a mess in the reservation system. We did not receive the rooms, which we booked. Our group of 15 people booked two 8-bed dorms to stay together, but received 13 beds in two dorms and one 2-person bedroom (+). However, the consequence of receiving this extra 2-person bedroom (for free) was the accommodation of people from outside our group in these two dorms, including a hostel staff member. During our two-night stay, some members of our group were relocated by the hostel staff from one bed to another, without prior notice.
