Very convenient & does the job!

Great location in a quiet estate Everything there like home from home for a stay close to the town of Aviemore Toys, bedside barriers, high chair, books for kids Lots of useful information on top of the piano

Relatively tight parking - fine for one car but we had two large vehicles between us, could probably park on the street but not sure. Stair gate would be useful also having said it’s great for all the other necessities with children. Could be updated in places, things are wearing thin and not sparkling eg paintwork on bathroom units, slightly grubby in corners of en-suite, shower wasn’t as clean as I’d have liked (but not worth shouting about), furniture slightly rickerty, also asked to put out the bins on bin day. (We did this but someone previous to us had put soft plastics in the main recycling bin so it wasn’t taken…would be better if owner took full responsibility for this).

Outstanding base to explore the region

A modern, clean house with all essential amenities available made traveling much easier. There is a beautiful little garden out the back, and the house is in a quiet suburban housing area. Plenty of toys and books for kids are available onsite, and there is excellent internet Wi-Fi! The location is the perfect base for sightseeing and activities in the Highlands, close to the A9. Claire is an exceptional hostess! She communicated with us well in advance and during our stay, providing tips for eating out and interesting destinations. Whenever we had questions, she responded swiftly — we appreciated this a lot!

As is with many houses in the UK, the upper floors do not come with air conditions or ventilators. Sleeping upstairs therefore becomes nearly impossible when a heatwave hits.

Really great access (on foot) to Aviemore and all the great shops/eateries on offer. Surrounded by stunning scenery accessed by some of the best cycling trails I've used. Very helpful and friendly communication with owner.

Perfect springtime family break

Claire was a wonderful host, very easy to contact with any queries and was very clear with instructions on keys etc. The property is wonderful, all the comfort of home, in a lovely location on the edge of town meaning you're away from the busier streets, yet only a 15 minute walk from the centre. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Kinveachy is perfect in every way, a lovely lovely quiet property and very helpful host.

The host contacted me the day before we left home to let us know how to get the keys. Claire is very helpful and kept in touch now and again to make sure everything was ok. Kinveachy is a lovely property. It is in a quiet area, despite being close enough to town to walk in. Spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped for couples or families alike. We would not hesitate to book again if we are in the area.

It’s a lovely, clean, spacious house situated well to explore Aviemore and the surrounding area.

We liked that the property had everything we needed as a family of 5 on holiday. kids enjoyed using the back garden/ swing and the games in the house. the house itself was nice and clean and was in a good location as our base to explore Aviemore and the surrounding area.

It would have been good to have Netflix available.

Location was good . It was easy to find . Downstairs was roomy , kitchen nice .

Bedrooms were fine because there were only two of us instead of four . If there had been four the coombed ceilings would have been a problem especially in the twin room .

Great place for a short stay in the Scottish Highlands.

The house was perfect for our needs. With two adults and four children, we primarily needed private space, bathrooms and good kitchen facilities. Our host provided excellent pre-visit information. The house was located on the outskirts of Aviemore in a quiet cul-de-sac, so great for commuting to nearby activities and attractions.

Beautiful house, lots to see and do!

The property was exceptional, it was clean, tidy and not only did it have everything you would expect in a holiday rental it also went above and beyond, Apart from a good range of DVD's there were board games and toys for the kids, and games for the grown ups too. The piano was an excellent touch! The rooms were very tidy the beds were all comfy, and the house was cosy.

This is nit picking really because there was nothing wrong, or put us off staying!. Control of the heating was difficult. The fuse switches in the kitchen could use some labels to understand which is which as apposed to just trying them.

Spotless, comfortable base to explore Aviemore.

Will definitely return! Excellent, spotless property 10 mins walk from town centre. Much bigger than we thought. Toys and enclosed back garden for kids. Huge kitchen with every utensil you could need. Host immediately contactable. Overall a huge success and very homely too. Also lovely views from Upper floor. Very snug and warm with newly installed underfloor heating. Eco-friendly kitchen cleaning products a bonus too! Blackout curtains, HUGE extra king size bed and plenty of extra bedding etc in cupboards.

Friendly, accommodating & cosy

Property was located in a lovely quiet area of aviemore. The house was comfy and accommodating. Beds were comfy. Claire the host kept in contact our entire stay as there was heating issues which was totally outwith her control but did everything within her control to ease the situation.

Could of had some of the essentials - tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper & oil. Showers lacked power.
