Lovely, peaceful place to stay with pretty mountain views

Great location, close to Muizenberg beach and amenities. Alexa was friendly and helpful. The place was minimally but tastefully decorated with a calming colour scheme, a beautiful selection of decorative baskets and some lovely handcrafted furniture, and the bed was very comfortable. There is a small private garden which I didn't have time to use but would be lovely in good weather. The shower was great, and all the soaps and cleaning items were from organic, sustainable sources. Altogether very thoughtful.

I would have liked some shelves or drawers to unpack things into in the bedroom, but this was not a big issue for a short stay.

No TV or radio. The oven/microwave was stuck under a counter and was very awkward to use, especially as the cord was rather short so plugging it in was tricky.

Lovely accommodation, friendly owner, great location and great value.

Made very welcome on arrival. Lovely, bright and really well appointed two bedroomed annex with great outdoor area for relaxing, al-fresco dining and bar-b-queuing. Well located, walking distance to the great surfing beach and vibe at Muizenberg with surf shops and restaurants. Fantastic value. Will definitely be back. 10/10

Not Impressed by the Dog hair and dirty airfryer.

The location was good. Walking distance from the Muizenberg beach. I really enjoyed the fact that I was with my family, they helped me to partially forget all the dog hair that was everywhere.

The location, it allowed for easy, fast access to the beach and nearby night life.

Exceptional Shabby Chic

We were really happy with our stay at Shabby Chic. Alexa was an excellent host. 5-8min walk to the beach was easy and access was great. Alexa, Tholo and York were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay here again.

Shabby Chic Home Away From Home

I loved everything. The owner is kind and sweet and very helpful. She even asked when we would like to leave the premises at the end of the vacation which was amazing. Its a beautiful place with a great view. There is everything you need inside and its a great location. The garden at the back of the property felt like my happy place. It felt like my home away from home.The place is safe and secure and very convenient to get around from place to place . I will definitely be going back soon. Everything was neat and tidy when we got there and the owner even left little treats for us which was very thoughtful of her. I recommend everyone to try this place. You will have an experience of a lifetime. 💙

Homy place in Muizemberg

Notre séjour à l'appartement d'Alexa a été absolument magnifique! L'appartement offre tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un très bon séjour. Le lit est très confortable, l'appartement très propre et la décoration actuelle. Une très belle petite terrasse ensoleillée le matin: Parfait pour un petit déjeuner agréable. De nombreuses petites attentions: gateaux secs, rooibos de qualité, sac et serviettes de plage ont rendu notre séjour encore plus sympa. Alexa est très gentille, très réactive et nous avons eu de belles conversations ensemble. Nous aurions souhaité rester plus longtemps mais nous devions rentrer. Nous avons déjà recommandé cet hébergement à nos amis. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison.
