We were so pleasantly surprised with this little home stay. After reading some bad reviews we were worried but honestly this place was so perfect for a 1 night stay. The hotel was so central to everything, the bed was really comfy, good working AC, hot shower - what more could you ask for.
There were quite a few ants so don’t keep any food in the room. Other than that though everything was great.

Fort Heaven is a great place to stay if you want to explore Galle Fort. It's right in the middle of everything, so all the cafés, shops, and attractions are just a short walk away. It was a little on the expensive side, but the excellent location made it worth it. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it.
The room had a few bugs.

Fort Heaven is a little gem, tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood but just minutes from the ramparts. My room was in the roof, reached by its own stair. It was small but comfortable, and quiet. Good bathroom and shower, all very clean. I wanted to stay another night but it wasn't possible. So, a good recommendation, then.
