Wonderful stay! The staff is amazing, the room was very comfortable, and we could easily access everything we wanted to see and do around the island.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction happening on the island. This impacts every place you can stay, but does impact the overall feeling of relaxation for a vacation.

The staff and the owner are extremely nice and kind people...always available and we genuinely caring . Sea La Vie is an oasis in a jungle of construction around it on Ukulhas ...once we were inside the courtyard we could forget the huge construction..although occasionally we could still hear it. Sea la Vie does a nice breakfast...and the lunch or dinner is served at an adjacent restaurant..which was friendly and tasty. Nice location, too, on the beach .. bathroom was spacious..plenty of hangers for snorkeling gear to dry.
The reef was quiet nice ...not the best we've seen ...but easy to get to. Some sharks and a turtle. Some live coral ...good in places.
The very best was the morning mantra ray trip ...and aod boat trip early in the morning just for us two . Very recommended.
Certainly we were hugely disappointed by the encouragement high rise construction on the island ...it's already busy busy and it's going to be we guess twice the amount
This small island already felt on bikini beach crowded ...something like Southern Spain ...lots of people too stamping on the corals .....we can't imagine what it will be like when the available beds is doubled??? Furthermore there seems to be no management by the island to ask tourists to behave nicely to their environment...especially the coral and sea life .there are no information signs 😕

Great people and generous with their care.
The island itself is going through a transition to modern accommodation. Meaning construction of bigger hotels. Paradise Lost for us, paradise found for another type of vacation. Sealavie is in the more preserved area with good snorkeling and cool restaurant/bars close.
