The location is definitely a big plus – it’s very close to the beautiful beach, and you can easily go snorkeling and see fish, turtles, and even reef sharks.
The room itself was okay and the beds were comfortable.
Overall, the stay was okay thanks to the great location and comfortable beds, but there are some important improvements needed.
the bathroom really needs improvement. There was a strong and unpleasant sewage smell that sometimes made it difficult to use. Many elements were rusty, the tap was constantly dripping, and one part of the faucet kept falling off while using it.
It would also be great if the fridge worked properly. When plugged in, the light was on, but it didn’t cool at all. Having a working fridge would make a big difference, especially for keeping water cold.
One more important point is about the excursions. We booked a sandbank trip through our host, when paying in rufiyaa, a very high exchange rate (20 per dollar) was applied, while everywhere else the rate was much more reasonable (around 15–17). This felt disappointing. The trip itself was nice, we were given food but we were given a broken umbrella. We would recommend checking other providers on the island for better transparency and pricing.
Also, it would be nice if the breakfast serving was longer. As people are on vacation and want to sleep a bit longer, it should be untill 10 as in most of the places

The location was exceptional, the vibes were great, Qaish was very helpful, and the staff were extremely friendly. There’s also a juice bar just a 10-second walk from the property with great drinks, and the beach is only a 1-minute walk away.

The location was great. The manager was quite friendly, liked having the snorkelling gear to use.
The breakfast guy made us feel like we were an inconvenience, eye rolls when I asked for milk with my tea, not answering questions with actual words, just walking away and sometimes coming back with what we wanted, sometimes not. One day we ran out of toilet paper and they told us we had to wait till 6pm! We never got clean towels, the breakfast was ok but cold - they must cook the eggs long before we arrive for breakfast, the bunk beds were on the verge of breaking, they were 20 mins late taking us to the ferry, no communication, no apologies. It honestly felt like they don’t want tourists there, and maybe they don’t? We only booked here because where we had previously booked cancelled on us literally the day before (said the bed was broken), so we had very few choices and we unfortunately had to pay a very high rate for what is a 1-2 star hotel at best.
