It’s a very comfortable traditional guest house. Good facilities and very pleasant host. Close to amenities such as restaurants, good self catering facilities.

Good location.
Only a caretaker to greed us after phoning him, could not pay him (sure it was late Sunday afternoon). Refurbishment of the bathroom was not good, the basin is not installed level for example. No breakfast offered.

Bertie the staff member was very friendly and helpful as was the lady who serviced the room.
Food at Ou Meule was excellent.
Visit to the planetarium in Sutherland was worth it.
The space we occupied was rather cramped, no where to put a suitcase or shelves to put clothes on. The space occupied could be made more comfortable by removing the bunk beds.
