Everything! The property was nicely maintained, updated and so clean. It had everything we needed for our family.

Everything was wonderful, I only wish there was a fan in the loft area where the beds were to help circulate the fresh mountain air while we slept.

Stunning place

Great location (took a while to find when we first arrived in the dark). What a view of Lake Maggiore - you can admire it. A kind hostess, a great restaurant for dinner right next door, a breakfast bar with a wonderful view - what more could you want. Excellent hiking trails nearby, swimming in the lake. A quick note for future bookers -- without your own transport, access is a bit difficult as Casa Angelino is a few hundred meters up the hillside from Cannobio, so it may take a while to get there on foot.

nice place for a peaceful stay up in the mountains

Location is nice - great view of Lage Maggiore. Really good restaurant next door as well. Nice hiking trail starting in the village going up to Monte Giove.

There are no food options in the village on Wednesdays (there isn't even a bakery or store in the vicinity, you have to drive down to Cannobio)

Superb location overlooking the lake, lovely, comfortable accommodation, good central heating, large comfortable bed, helpful staff, on-site bar and restaurant, quiet and peaceful.

For a longer self -catering stay the kitchen equipment is a bit limited and also no tea or coffee provided.

Cosy mountainside village apartment.

Small shared swimming pool nearby for our use with lovely views. Car park area was private. Helpful host. Pleasant cosy decor. Good shower. Shelves and cupboards for luggage storage. Entranceway balcony with table and chairs for enjoying eating and drinking outside and lovely mountainside view. Lovely views to lake and mountains from the village centre. Extractor fan and light for stovetop cooking.

Nearby church bell rings loud every half an hour, twenty four hours a day, every day. Long twisty, steep narrow road up to the village from the lakeside main road. No bidet as advertised. No sunblock blind or shutter for front door or attic window. Wi-Fi problems (not available for half of the first night) Kitchen not well equipped. No mosquito nets on windows so had to keep attic bedroom window closed during the night and so was very hot and stuff during sleep time. Not enough windows in attic. Staff of next door restaurant were often smoking cigarettes at the rear, just underneath us, was unpleasant to see and breathe in. Apartment car park not nearby. Very thin walls so were woken up early most mornings by neighbours talking in their apartment.

Fabulous

Kindly flat in a small village above Cannobio with nice view to Lago Maggiore. Very kind owner.

The beds could be better and made noises. We missed a main lamp in the living room, it's quite dark in the middle. The church bell was very very loud. We closed the windows during the nights.

Exceptional

The view from S. Agata is beautiful. The apartment was clean and had everything. There is a restuarant next door in case you don't feel like cooking.

The drive up to S. Agata is not for nervous drivers.

Super recomendable

Casa Angelino está super recomendada. El apartamento Blu estaba limpio, cómodo y bien equipado. Perfecto para una familia. El ambiente en St. Agata es muy amistoso y alegre. Abajo del apartamento un super restaurante. Desde la plaza central una super vista al lago, de donde se puedo disfrutar de un buen café, croissants o bien por la tarde de un buen vino. Queremos regresar!

Preis-Leistung war okay

Wir hätten eine Information erwartet, dass sowohl die Frühstücksbar als auch die Pizzeria 2 Tage vor Anreise bis kommenden März geschlossen haben. Wir haben niemanden getroffen, Suche des Apartments und damit der Zimmerschlüssel (zuvor Code zugeschickt bekommen) nach Fotos möglich, aber nicht optimal. Essen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten somit nur unten am See (bedeutet jeweils die 3 km Serpentinen) - Auto unbedingt notwendig. Glockenturm wie schon in vielen Rezensionen sehr fleißig und lautstark am Läuten ;-)

Mooie locatie

Heel net en nieuw appartement. In een mooi en rustig plaatsje boven Lago Maggiore. Een fijne plek om te zijn als je van het echte Italiaanse leven houdt.

- Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding - Privé parkeerplaats. - Keuken voldoende uitgerust. - Snell Wifi. - hostess Agata zeer vriendelijk en te vinden in nabijgelegen café met prachtig uitzicht over Cannobio. - Naastgelegen Pizzeria zeer schappelijk van prijs.

- Zonder airco is het hartje zomer behoorlijk broeierig warm binnen. Ik was blij dat we onze eigen ventilatoren bij hadden, aangezien deze in het appartement ook ontbraken. - De 3 kilometer lange weg naar boven is behoorlijk steil en op een aantal punten dusdanig smal dat slechts 1 auto doorgang kan vinden. Voor de iets meer gevorderde rijder dus.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Die Ferienwohnung in einem kleinen Dorf hoch über Cannobio, die Bar am Dorfplatz mit grossartiger Panoramasicht über den Lago und das Restaurant nebenan. Sehr ruhig, abseits von Touristentrubel und Verkehr unten am See.

Dass das Restaurant in SantÀgata just in der Woche unseres Aufenthaltes geschlossen hatte.

Großartig!

In einer außergewöhnlich schönen Lage mit Blick auf Cannobio und den Lago Maggiore, sehr netten Gastgebern, der kleinen, tollen und günstigen Bar El Calisot, sowie der empfehlenswerten Bar Trattoria Pizzeria Della Volpe unter dem Balkon, kann man nur eine sehr schöne Zeit haben.

Der Urlaub war zu kurz :-)
