Baywatch - Private Balcony Overlooking Poole Quay

On collecting the keys from the Quay Holidays office, we had a welcome map and instructions to park the car and reach the apartment. The staff there were helpful and followed up with a welcome text to check everything was OK. The apartment was excellent: Accessed through a manned foyer, up 2 floors in a lift and short walk to the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious throughout, 2 large modern styled bedrooms and 2 contemporary bathrooms ( nice fluffy towels). Well presented and furnished with all modern appliances. Generous complimentary toiletries, plus tea/coffee/hot chocolate and snacks. Also useful cleaning products supplied - washing up liquid/sponge/dishwasher tabs, etc. Nice bottle of wine in fridge :) The apartment was spotlessly clean, good Wi-Fi and lots of storage. Very comfortable. Fantastic location with great view of the quay, boats coming and out, and a balcony to sit out on ( full sun in the afternoon). Easy access to Poole boat and bus trips, and lots of restaurant choices, 5 - 10mins walk to main shopping centre. It was quite noisy outside with the quay and local area being a working port and very busy but the apartment was well sound-proofed and with the windows closed it was very quiet. At times we felt we were the only people in the building! Allocated secure parking included is a huge bonus. Great that although checkout was 10am on the last day, another 2 hours was allowed before having to return the keys or move the car.

It is a shame and not the fault of the owners but there was huge scaffolding right outside both bedroom windows for recent roof repairs. We were not interrupted by people on it and it did not cover the main living room or front half of the balcony and it did not interfere with the view, but sitting on the balcony you were conscious of this huge structure immediately behind you. Also, small niggle that none of the clocks told the correct time - and a small suggestion that a LED clock in the bedroom would be useful. And toilet roll holders need fixing/replacing to horizontal ones to keep the loo rolls in place and not rolling all over the floor as soon as you touch them....

Nothing not to like 😁 We had a very hot week and would’ve liked a fan which was there last time we came. I’ve mentioned this on the client questionnaire upon leaving and I’m sure they will replace this

Lovely apartment, spacious, well equipped and of high spec. Very comfortable, great view of the quay and balcony with 2 small tables and chairs. Very quiet. Generous complimentaries - in bathrooms and kitchen - and a nice bottle of wine in the fridge! Helpful reminders of impending booking and clear instructions for garage parking, access and directions to apartment. Very happy with everything, would book again. Exceptional.

Really too many reminders by email - over 12 in the couple of months between booking and arriving and most saying exactly the same thing - a bit of overkill?

Large comfortable rooms with all the kitchen equipment you would ever need. Great view of the harbour and close to all the pubs and restaurants
