Sakura House

We booked Sakura Hotel but were sent to Fuji Hotel instead, which is nearby. We had a lovely stay at this hotel, we even came back a second time. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The owner doesn't speak English (speaks other languages) but we could easily communicate with our phone. Very close to a park where they do free yoga in the morning, and to lovely cafès for a delicious breakfast. It's located at a short walk from the city centre too. It's cheaper if you book with them directly. They provide you with tons of hangers to dry your clothes outside the window and they have a washing machine. If you don't have detergent, there is a small laundromat in front of the hotel that provides it. The surroundings are quite, no noise whatsoever. Water dispenser available at a small free per litre. I am allergic to dust and sensitive to mold but didn't have any issues in any of the two rooms we stayed at. No smells either. There is a fridge in the room. Truly a lovely place.

This was the best hotel I've stayed in during my last 9 months in Asia. It's in a peaceful part of Chiang Mai, very close to a beautiful park (Buak Had Park) where there are free morning yoga classes every day at 8am ('Yoga in the park' on Facebook). The room was perfect; it had a fridge, air con, a microwave and a kettle. Also the bathroom had a bath so you can fully relax in your own space. It's a 5 minute walk away from a 7-Eleven which was super helpful The staff are super friendly and helpful, I ended up extending my stay 3 times with them! Will definitely return here next time I'm in Chiang Mai :) (Also, you check in at Sakura House, but then they walk you to Fuji Hotel 2 minutes away. So it was actually Fuji Hotel I stayed in )

Great location. The Burmese staff were super helpful and kind. The bath in the room is fantastic. The room is comfortable and clearn. They have good facilities.

The manager didn't spend time to understand my booking situation. He found a solution, which was kind. But it cost me 100 Baht. This is not a lof of money. But he could have saved us both time and money if he had noticed I was trying to tell him something imortant.
