Sakura House

Close to a nice park. Quiet location.

This was the best hotel I've stayed in during my last 9 months in Asia. It's in a peaceful part of Chiang Mai, very close to a beautiful park (Buak Had Park) where there are free morning yoga classes every day at 8am ('Yoga in the park' on Facebook). The room was perfect; it had a fridge, air con, a microwave and a kettle. Also the bathroom had a bath so you can fully relax in your own space. It's a 5 minute walk away from a 7-Eleven which was super helpful The staff are super friendly and helpful, I ended up extending my stay 3 times with them! Will definitely return here next time I'm in Chiang Mai :) (Also, you check in at Sakura House, but then they walk you to Fuji Hotel 2 minutes away. So it was actually Fuji Hotel I stayed in )

Great location. The Burmese staff were super helpful and kind. The bath in the room is fantastic. The room is comfortable and clearn. They have good facilities.

The manager didn't spend time to understand my booking situation. He found a solution, which was kind. But it cost me 100 Baht. This is not a lof of money. But he could have saved us both time and money if he had noticed I was trying to tell him something imortant.
