The overall quality of food throughout the resort was excellent, it exceeded our expectations. The staff are very friendly and approachable everywhere you go, nothing is too much trouble and they take pride in the resort facilities. There is plenty to do for all ages.

It is the one of the best family getaway anyone can have. Almost everything is perfect and very hard to complain. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
Food for dinner Ala-carte is just bad. I went to seadragon Chinese restaurant and smoked grill restaurant and both are very bad. Their buffet restaurant is good and Italian is also good.

Kandima was the perfect finale to our honeymoon. One of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The level of customer care and attention to detail was outstanding from start to finish.
A big thank you to Nitesh and llan for their excellent communication and support, especially in arranging a beautiful honeymoon surprise and coordinating our transfers. We also appreciated trying both experiences arriving by seaplane and returning via domestic flight & speedboat.
At the airport, Koo from the Kandima team welcomed us and smoothly guided us to the seaplane. From arrival at the resort, the hospitality was warm and genuine.
We stayed in an Ocean Pool Villa and it was an amazing choice beautifully designed with a calming blueish theme that perfectly reflects the Maldives vibes. The privacy was excellent, and the honeymoon decorations and welcome touches were a lovely surprise. Room service was also quick and efficient.
Getting around the island was easy and fun. Bicycle rentals are available for just $5 per day, which is very reasonable, along with a shuttle bus for convenience.
Food was great overall, breakfast at Zest & Flavor was excellent, we also enjoyed room service (especially the pizzas), and Smoked stood out for its grills and burgers with a nice live music vibe. Breeze Pool Bar was also a fun spot to chill in the evening.
Special thanks to Jonathon (F&B Manager) for his great energy, and Aain for his excellent service at Zest and Smoked.
We were lucky to visit during Easter and enjoyed the festive beach setup and treats.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Maldives experience!

- Wi-Fi almost everywhere
- Wonderful vegetation throughout the whole resort
- Big island with various to offer
- On side of the island has great and huge beach
- Friendly staff
- A lot of activities to do (water sports, karting, arcade games, etc)
- Great spa massage
- They have a phone app which you can use to explore the resort facilities and even contact them
- The beach on the other side of the island is disastrous: few meters of sand full with rocks and water with big corals, not suitable for entering it at all. I can't imagine booking a room on that side and arriving there only to see that beach. Luckily I was on the other side
- Few of the presentation photos are misleading, a lot of the places shown are actually bad in reality (especially the 2 floating white circles at the bar: they're made up of cheap plastic, very uncomfortable and not pleasant at all)
- The prices shown everywhere (menus, ads, etc) don't include taxes (which are not small at all, they're aprox 28.7%)
- You don't get any bathroom extra amenities as you would expect from a 5 star hotel
- The all-inclusive packages are not really all-inclusive, various menu food/drink options are excluded and some bars too. With half/full board you can only access the buffet restaurants which are not great
- On the day we arrived the bathroom water stopped working
- Everything is extremely expensive
- The karting area is 10+ years only (min 1.40m height) but this is not mentioned beforehand, you find out only when you arrive there. Imagine going with your kids to the long-waited promised karts only to have them be extremely disappointed when they're said they are not allowed. It was horrible, we had to comfort almost started crying.
- A lot of parts of the resort are not renovated and are in bad shape, including one of the pools
- The buffet restaurants serving is sub par, waiters don't set up the tables correctly, missing cutlery, missing water glasses, no water refill, etc
- Very low internet speed, 1-2Mbps, although they advertise it as high speed
