Great basic hotel with friendly staff.

The owner was lovely and checked on how we were doing multiple times. It’s a great basic hotel for a short stay. The rooms are equipped with a kettle, fridge, tv and water. Our room was pretty dark with a slightly sketchy bathroom so I couldn’t imagine chilling in this hotel but it was fine for a stopover.

As someone who walks absolutes everywhere it’s nearly impossible to cross the road the hotel is on to walk into town so bear this in mind, you will be very dependent on scooters as it’s not close to restaurants etc.

We had a wonderful stay here. We were accommodated very well by the owner. Very friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast. The room spacious and we loved balcony. We had a view of the area. You have to rent a scooter to go to most restaurants since some are distant away from the place.

The only good thing about the property were the nice staff.

Unfortunately, a lot. It is budget price yes however it was nothing like the description. There is no lake view, tv didn’t work, fridge sounded like it was about to blow up every 30mins we had to turn it off. The bathroom functional but needed work, cupboards falling apart when touched, no soap provided, very loud in the food near the road and no noise cancelling. Everything the listing said the room was not.

Staff were great. Packed us an amazing breakfast on our checkout date. Location was okayish, nearby main road and market. Homestay is open and airy.

Amazing stay at Beji Ayu and lovely staff

I don’t know how this place doesn’t get better reviews! We loved it here and it was great value too. - The staff were so friendly and smiley and it really made our stay so much better, when someone tampered with our bag at the airport they kindly got their tools out and helped us fix the lock - Affordable motorbike rental - Kitchen/fridge/kettle etc and you could also borrow the utensils/crockery from the hotel kitchen - Great size room, with comfortable beds, duvets and nice pillows. Aircon strong and not loud - Really good WiFi - Good location, would recommend you hire a bike though - Bottled water and room cleaned daily (this doesn’t happen very often in SE Asia so we were very grateful!)

- Bathroom sometimes had an odour when we ran the tap or flushed the toilet I assume due to poor sewage or being near to the river but it really wasn’t a huge issue and we would return regardless - Dim lighting in bathroom and bedroom but again really not a significant issue

A very clean and private room, very fast wifi plus the aircon and the location were wonderful. There is a bike for rent and cheap and tasty food nearby. The highlight of the hotel is the staff- lovely friendly guys. Recommended.

Unpleasant Accomodation experience in Seminyak

The staff was helpful. The room was made and towels were daily. Water was provided on daily basis.

We did not get the same room as we booked. We are a couble and we got twin bed. The staff said he would change our room the next day but he did not. The towel and bed sheets had stained on it. The wardrobe was broken with only 1 door out of 2. The wash basin was too small and uncomfortable to use. The property was been run down and needs a good renovation. We even got electrocuted in the shower. The shower, paper holder and tap of the bathroom was rusty and could not longer be cleaned and should be replaced as soon as possible. The staff was not aware that we booked the room with breakfast. When we requested the breakfast, then the staff called the owner to confirm same and the owner did the needful with delays. We also noticed egg shell on the omelette. The owner is more concerned about making the money rather than providing a good service to the customer by replacing all the damaged or worn out fittings.

Good

Comfortable bed, fast wifi and the shower was hot with excellent water pressure! Free filter water and access to the kitchen was great too. We were also able to rent a scooter directly from the property for a good price. Staff was lovely and helpful!

Difficult to get around if you don’t have a scooter - it’s located just off the highway which is scary to cross. Not big fans of the breakfast either.
