Darja Guesthouse

The apartment was clean, with comfortable mattresses and crisp white linens. The bathroom had everything we needed, and Daria greeted us very warmly. There was no air conditioning in any of the rooms, but the nights had already gotten cool during our trip, so we could sleep comfortably with the window open. It was a good place to stop for the night in the middle of a long journey.

Beautiful location, close to Ljubljana. Clean and comfortable, great parking.

The owner was very nice. Lots of toiletries, the shower was powerful

The location was well out on a limb. The attached bar closes on a Thursday so no other facilities available. No way to boil an egg or fry a sausage in the kitchen. The road at the front looks quite but it's not, there's a small village past the property and the cars fly past and regular tractors etc churn past, very noisy. The walls are paper thin, after a 12 hour drive from Germany we went to bed to be woken by someone dragging cases and talking at midnight, it sounded like they were in our room When we arrived on the Wednesday I went to the bar and the welcome was very cold, the lady just didnt want to serve me. The curtains have 2 layers, net curtains and normal curtains but they are on one pole?? Very strange. The shower needs a new shower bar so you don't have to hold the shower head in your hand, simple repair! Look up for the cobwebs lol.
