This is my third time staying here. The location for me is excellent. I have family within walking distance, but enjoy my privacy. However, on this trip I did notice a few changes. I did not have the opportunity to confirm my suspicions (front desk closes after 10pm. Code/key card are used to gain entry). I believe this place is under new management or new owner. My first concern is the state of the towels provided. They were old, way passed there prime and in some instances torn. This has not happened in my previous stays. I would have them in my rag box. On one occasion in particular, my bathroom was not cleaned at all. (Sunday). This hotel books tour groups. Folks are up for breakfast before 7:am. or rolling their luggage down the halls. It can get noisy. I'm an early riser myself, but keep this in mind. Breakfast was good, all the usuals available. My stay was for 8 days so in my case it got a little limited. If you get a deal on room with breakfast go for it. The front desk ladies I met were all charming, delightful, and very helpful. A pleasure. My one complaint was the lady in the breakfast room/ tending bar. Wow I know she had long shifts, but a smile, a courteous hello, would have been welcomed. I found her very abrupt, and dismissive.
