Nearly to the center

First of all, it is a guesthouse with 4 rooms sharing one bathroom, which is a disaster. It doesn't look like the pictures at all, pure delusion. Hygiene is absolutely zero, the other underage guests did not respect the silence of others, I cleaned up after them by myself for which I did not receive a single thank you, instead we were kicked out onto the street.The room where the four of us were was too small, it was 40 degrees outside when we returned to the accommodation the air conditioning was always off, which means that someone was constantly coming and checking. We asked the Dear lady if she could let us stay until 5 pm the next day with an additional charge, to which the same person replied: "Yes, it is possible with an additional charge of 1000 dinars." It was Sunday at 3:20 pm the Dear lady called us to leave immediately because she supposedly had guests who didn't show up, and it was Sunday after all. We asked her nicely to stay for another hour because we were waiting for transportation, of course with an extra charge, but the Dear lady refused because she had to clean while we were still there, which meant we couldn't go to the bathroom. And on top of that, the guesthouse suggests a daily rest from 12 pm to 6 pm. So thank you very much. I absolutely do not recommend it even in a madman’s mind.

Very clean, close to everything, perfect for a short stay

Friendly welcome, easy check in, shared kitchen and bathroom were extremely clean, quiet, convenient, very close to the centre, 5 min walk to/from the bus station

It was OK for me, but the room I booked (Quadruple Room) has a large interior window with blinds. It's still private but if you get woken up easily maybe book one of the other rooms as a lot of light from the shared spaces comes through :)

Good place for short trip

Location is very good, you can easily get to the city center, to the fortress and to the bus station. Room was clean, with enough space for the suitcase, with shelf to place stuff. The bed was very comfortable. Slippers are provided, also nice. Shower and toilet spaces (separate) were clean and convenient to use. Kitchen appliances which I've used were ok. Coffee pot was specifically a nice piece.

Overall state of the space is not very good, it has many signs of being worn-out. Though this did not hurt the experience from functional point of view, just made the impression not perfect. Only small towels are provided, it would be good to have a big one as well The kitchen offers coffee and sugar as compliment, but I was missing tea. It would be good if the tea would also be offered.

The wall to the living room was window with curtains wich ment that every time the light went outside it got light in our room. But otherwise the curtain was alright you couldn't see through it.

Perfect location about 3 min form city center. Very friendly host. Quiet place for relax and resting. Recommend for 1-3 nights, maybe even more.

Good value for money, good location.

Very unpleasant host. I came upstairs with my friend for 5 minutes, just to pick up the umbrella because it was about to rain. Later that day, I received an SMS from the host saying that there are cameras in the hallway, and that she saw someone coming in with me. She demanded that I pay extra, that same evening ( it was 10pm, I was nowhere near the apartment at the moment). When explaining in detail what the situation was, she just replied with "ok", as she did on every previous message before that. I left the money on the table the next morning. I was alone during my whole stay, making zero noises, doing nothing rude or wrong in general. I've never seen a host go out of its way just to make their guests feel uncomfortable like that.

"Sweet" by name but extremely sour as an experience. 83 STEPS TO GET TO THE APARTMENT!!!!

Convenient location. It's cheap - and understandably so. A big plant in the apartment was nice

As noted by other reviewers, the attitude of the owner is far from pleasant. My bus from Pristina was cancelled and I needed to travel to Nis via Skopje which added about 7 hours to the trip. I first informed the owner of my late arrival at 15.00 and updated her 7 times by WhatsApp messages. She never said the late arrival would be a problem or subject to a late arrival fee. The total rent due was €48. I gave the owner €50 and when I asked for change, she said I should pay HER an extra €2 for my late arrival. That she would quibble over such a small amount of money is an indication of how mean this person is. Unsurprisingly, no receipt was provided. There is nothing in the description of the apartment to explain that it requires 83 very steep steps to get to. For older or physically impaired people, or anyone with heavy luggage, this is an absolute nightmare. The 'apartment' itself has beds packed into every available space and (more) steps to a loft section which take up even more room. The apartment is on the top floor and has two large sky-light windows without any blinds or curtains whatsoever so the early morning sun streamed through at 05.00 am. As I experienced in a different apartment owned by the same person, she somehow thinks 2 tiny hand towels are sufficient instead of normal, decent-sized bath towels. Admittedly she brought a bigger towel when asked, but would not have done so if I had not requested it. Having reviewed 390 properties for Booking.com, I can attest this 'Sweet' place is a disaster from beginning to end and only the extremely cheap rates would put it into consideration. To be avoided at all costs.

The room was clean and nice. The location is perfect, and the equipment in the apartment was totally satisfactory.

The only problem with this apartment is that it's on a fourth floor and you have to carry your luggage after winding stairs...but it is a small issue.

Great room, big and warm, big bed with the most comfortable pillow that I ever seen. Large kitchen area with all amenities. Forks, knives, spoons and cups in large quantities. Nice toilet and bath. There is even a loggia for spending time together. I was satisfied!

In my room, the bed consisted of two halves that did not fully close, it was not very comfortable. A small blanket. It was fine for me, but it might be hard for someone to climb the steep spiral staircase.
