Oberdan 12

The proprietor William is the most helpful person we have ever met in over 20 years of using Airbnb. He contacted me about ten days before our stay to find out at what time we’re coming etc. Thereafter he maintained contact and when I asked him whether there was a fan in the apartment ( it was during the heatwave) bought a new one. There was ac in the dining/ living area but not in the bedroom so the fan was a huge bonus. Kept the room cool and allowed us to sleep very well. The furniture in the apartment is basic but everything that is needed for a short stay is there including a microwave and coffee machine. William was very helpful and gave us lots of tips for restaurants. He also met us outside the apartment at 9pm when we arrived on a late flight and gave us the keys. The location is absolutely fantastic and is only a few minutes from the Arena and main shopping street. We were there for the opera and Oberdan 12 was an excellent base. Will not hesitate to go again.

Willy, the owner of this Batchelor Flat, where he lived before he married was exceptionally helpful. He speaks and writes in English and contacts you on WhatsApp before you arrive. The Flat is in a perfect position for going to the Opera at The Arena. It is genuinely a 2 minute walk! It is in an old building, down a narrow street and has a lift and excellent security. You are truly immersed in Verona old town. The Flat has 2 TVs and WiFi, which Willy offers you the QR code for, to put directly onto your phone. The bed is large and comfy and the shower is excellent with piping hot water. There is also Air Conditioning which is vital in the summer. There is an umbrella stand with 3 umbrellas in it......and I wondered when it would rain, being English! However, I soon learnt that umbrellas are used in Italy as sun shades and I used the rainbow umbrella to great effect! It is a lovely place to stay in the heart of Verona.

I liked everything about this Flat. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a mix of modern and old fashions! The bathroom although comfy is definitely tiled from a different era! Very Italian perhaps!

Excellent communication. Perfect location and very comfortable apartment.

Place is good.

Bath room Wall is darty. Key is difficult.
