Ein sehr schönes Altstadthotel mit Geschichte.
Sehr schöne große Zimmer und alles sehr sauber.
Man wird vom Hotelbesitzer Herr Weigmann sehr freundlich empfangen und umsorgt.
Es gibt nichts zu meckern.

The warm and personal touch by the owner was amazing. I felt welcomed and immediately at home. The breakfast was great, everything organic and wherever possible sourced locally.
Görlitz is a beautiful Gothic city which miraculously hadn't been destroyed in WWII. Buildings 800 years old are meticulously renovated and restored.
In summary: Görlitz is a must if you want to see gorgeous, preserved original cities in Germany. And I can't imagine a better place to stay than the beautiful Frenzelhof right downtown.

Location, old town vibe, paintings on the wall
Smell of the room, automatic lights in the entrance, shampoo was in these plastic bags that are not possible to open. Parking is 20e per day. In the hotel next to it, parking was 10e per day, don't know really the difference.
I've stayed in multiple hotels in the city of Görlitz, and this would not be my recommendation.
Hotel Börse was way better in all categories.
