Everything was beautiful, the receptionists were very friendly and so were the other people in the property (The Italian guys, I think they are the owners)

The shower was in the bedroom, so it was weird. (having said that, the pressure on the shower itself was very good)

The overall was good,but I hope the breakfast can be indoors, especially when it rains;

The terrace was really beautiful, and the sea water was very clean; But when my child went into the water on the steps of the terrace, his feet were cut twice by barnacles; the front desk was very enthusiastic to help find three pieces band-aid;

The breakfast was placed outside, which was not very hygienic, because it rained that day, the rainwater fell on the plates and cups, the plates and cups were wet, which caused me to have diarrhea after breakfast; There were a lot of flies in the garage, very worried.

Just Amazing, clean, perfectly detailed planned nice, people are so friendly and helpful, owner of the place is there and cooks original italian pasta. Wirlpool, Sauna. Just perfect.

Fantastic modern architecture with the property cascading down the hill to flatten out with the pool area, bar and a system of decks suspended over the water. Walk into a calm sea and swim right from there. Super friendly owner, who arranged for a private boat tour around Ilha Grande on a short notice. Nice breakfast.

Pleasant stay for relaxing or a day trip to Paraty.

Property was right on the water. You could order in from local restaurant if you didn’t want to leave. They offered boat tours. Staff was nice about service and cutlery usage. Clean towels every day. Driver Ronaldo was great at transport for us to Paraty and Angra town, his business card is at reception.

There was cockroaches about the building. Room is a bit outdated. Could use renovating. Generally ok.

Hotel was amazing. Great breakfast, great staff, great views. 10/10. Couldn’t thank the owner enough for how welcoming he is and how good of a job he did with the development of his hotel. Highly recommended.

it was quite enjoyable but it would be amazing if the hotel was in a better condition

very spacious and comfortable. The tv and the bed were really good

could be a lot better maintained, our bathroom door and some of the hotel appliances were in quite poor condition. Could be better cleaned as well specially the pool and the hydro.

Nice room, but expensive and the rest of the hotel in need of refurbishment

The room we ended up in was lovely, very comfy with good beds

When we arrived the owner immediately said we had only booked a 'basic' room and that we should upgrade. We'd already paid a lot for our 2 nights, so didn't think it reasonable to pay more, but were then shown a terrible room at the back of the hotel, plus the hotel was empty, but he insisted on the upgrade, which was a much nicer room at the front, but felt a little cheated paying yet more. The breakfast was very basic considering the price and the breakfasts we had elsewhere were much better. It also felt like you were a guest in his house, rather than a hotel, which may have been because the place was empty, but felt a little odd and uncomfortable as the second we left our room, the owner would appear! And while our rom was lovely, the rest of the hotel is a little sad and in need of refurbishment

The views from the little huts were nice. the fact that you were able to have your own little hut and bbq whatever you wanted was cool…

However, it is important to note that the hotel is not up-kept. The hotel seems old and the pictures make it seem like it’s been taken care of but its not at all. The wi-fi wasn’t working and neither was the Netflix. Not the type of hotel I would recommend to a friend.

Heaven in Angra

If you are looking for something special Deep Blue is the right place to stay. It has nothing to do with a normal hotel, it is your second home. First day we came it was raining, but even bad weather could not ruin our impressions: a bottle of sparkling wine on a gorgeous terrace solved the problems 😂 Gueseppe is a fantastic host, eager to help your with every wish. Besides, he cooks delicious Italian food. Breakfast is also delicious and doesn’t make you try all this unnecessary staff offered in a usual buffet. Terrace, sun beds and all around are incredible. One can make his own grill party or join other guests, use kayak or jetski, go for a boat tour or just relax with a perfect view. Ordered 2 nights, but immediately booked 2 more and will come back for sure! Highly recommend!

Close to paradise on earth

We would have enjoyed to stay for a complete week or more, so fine we were feeling. No excuse to miss this fantastic address, where you feel at home, because you are so sincerely welcome. Giuseppe and Gabriela are two so nice people always trying to make you comfortable and giving advises on what to do and where to go. Just follow the tips and you are sure to have unique experiences in paradise places. Deep Blue Residence is in a peaceful place, just on the ocean. The house is beautiful, artistic and just comfortable with many cosy corners where each one can find his favorite place. You can meet people from all over the world, meaning very rich and a variety of experiences, chats and exchanges. Just fun and enjoyed moments where you can share all or part of your moments.

Stay was too short. We would have enjoyed to stay for a complete week, so fine we were feeling.
