Cacha Heritage Hotel - Chinatown & Old Town near MRT Sam Yot

Great location. Very kind and thoughtful staffs.

The showers. And there is no hook or shelf to place or hang anything.

This building is historical, from what I gathered, and was in good location next to the blue line train station. It made it super easy to get around Bangkok. It’s also a short walk from good restaurants and China Town.

Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay which was a bummer, not sure they offer it anymore. Our TV was broken as well and we weren’t aware until we arrived. You have to climb stairs to get to your room so beware if you have a lot of luggage.

Layout of the room, something different the usual. The ease of commute using the MRT Line right outside the buildig.

No elevator (was actually written somewhere but I did not see it). Inside the room, there were three stairs in between the bed and bathroom. I fell and broke a leg at 8pm. There was nobody at the counter (no personnel, no security) to get me a taxi. Had to take metro and walk to hospital. When I came back in the middle of the night, injured and crawling, the security guard did not help, did not pay attention, did not speak any English either. There was actually no emergency number where one could reach some English speaking personnel. Next day, I called the reception and somebody came to help me take the luggage down the stairs and paid a taxi toward hospital.
