The location was great, 5-10 minutes from the city centre and transport links, very quiet road. The size of the property was great for 5 adults, having two bathrooms was a bonus, the second floor bathroom has a lovely large shower. Two south facing patios, one off the living space and one off the 2nd floor bedroom with two sun loungers and a lovely view of the chapel of bones plus storks and swifts. Two keys were provided so we could explore independently. Communication with the host was good and she left provisions for breakfast.
It is very echoey, you can hear everything. If you like a lie in, this property is not for you, the church bells start chiming every 15 minutes from 8.00am and there is aircraft noise which is the norm in Faro. The first floor bathroom is a little dated, the water did not come out of the overhead shower with any vigour. We did have issues with the hot water and water pressure but the host was very responsive. Some of the crockery and cutlery was not clean.
