I spent two nights here in October. Communication with the accommodation was easy, they were quick to respond and very friendly.
The woman that greeted me on arrival was lovely, but I didn't see her again for the rest of my stay. I believe she lives above the apartments.
I really loved the location of the apartment. It was about 15min walk (easy walk) from Chora - just far enough out of town to be away from the "action" (although at this time of year, it was very peaceful everywhere) but close enough to walk for dinner, the ferry etc. Be aware, the roads are not all smooth so if you're bringing luggage and can't manage rolling it over uneven surfaces, you may want to consider requesting a ride. It would probably take about 3min to get there by car. I walked and was fine, just worked up a tiny sweat.
From the apartment I did the absolutely stunning walk along the coast to Gala Beach and exclaimed out loud many times how breathtaking it was. It's very easy to get on to the track from the apartment since the beach is pretty much across the road.
The property overall is very well kept. Beautiful gardens, a seated outdoor area outside each room and views of the sea. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The shower was decent although it was a handheld one. I didn't have any issues with this but some people might.
There was a fridge and enough utensils there to have a meal (provided you didn't need to cook).
The WiFi worked well for me but see note below.
I would stay here again for the location, the peace and because of the people who run it and would recommend to others.
There were no cooking facilities. There was also no sink except for the bathroom one, so it's a little awkward to clean things after using them and then put them away, but manageable.
On the second morning I woke up to no power or WiFi due I believe to a local storm. This meant a half-charged phone and a luke-warm shower. Nothing that could be helped by the owners and not the end of the world, but this along with the awkward kitchen situation are what has led to the 4 star rating instead of 5.
