Casa Barrela I

Casa Barrela 1 was very cosy and had everything we needed. Perhaps the best thing is the location, less than 10 minutes walk along the river side to the centre of Tavira old town, and a number of good restaurants less than 100m away. Also only 15 minutes walk to the train station and easy access to all the other towns along the coast. Marco came to change sheets and towels half way through our 2 week stay and quickly provided the small items we requested. Also he was very accommodating of our late flight on departure with a late checkout. We would definitely stay again if visiting Tavira again.

Nothing to dislike about the property.

Excellent location and had everything we needed. Marco was very helpful and gave us a lovely welcome. We felt we could ask him for any help.

The amount of stairs may be difficult if you have mobility problems.

The location was excellent. The host was very friendly and responsive. The rooftop patio is adorable.

The beds were incredibly hard, to the point they ruined my stay. I have arthritis in my hips and could not sleep in them. I moved down to the couch after 2 nights but it was badly stained and broken down. I ended up leaving a day early. I feel bad because the host was so nice but the furniture needs serious work.
