Queenie's Lakeview Star

i really like the view at the main front door. it shows the beautiful mountain and we really glad to see snow on the bright morning. past the street, there was even a petting zoo, with cute sheeps and sometimes even cows! The back of the house has also a good size of parking space, easy for us to park, although there wasn't that much light to see the gravel road to the back, but at least it reduces light pollution to see the amazing stars at night. it was also special for us about the beds: it has a heater underneath! this was really convenient for us, who doesnt have much experience with cold weathers. we're glad that our beds are very warm!

there wasn't any dryers for our clothes, so it was really inconvenient for us to dry our clothes, especially during winter time.

Modern house. Well appointed. Clean and quiet.

We were 'upgraded' before we arrived. This meant being moved to a bigger property (which we didnt need) but further out of town and away from the Lake. The place was nice but a huge house and felt more like we were in the suburbs than a cosy central Lake Tekapo bach. Lots of light pollution from surrounding houses. There was a fireplace, but it was out of order.
