Local neighbourhood hide-out

The 6th district of Lyon is conveniently located between the main train station and the historic center, everything at walking distance. The neighbourhood is not touristy so restaurants and bars have a local vibe and local prices. Nice balcony on the inner courtyard side.

The maximum height in the garage 1.75m, many modern cars (like ours) won't fit under the bar (and while curb side parking is easily available, the daily cost is €50). The apartment can sleep 4 but the salon can only comfortably seat 3. Bathroom needs an update

Great stay

The apartment is located in a pleasant neighbourhood, close to both the train station and metro, and about a 30 minute walk from the old town. Local amenities are excellent, with cafés, restaurants, and a supermarket right on your doorstep. The property was clean, though not spotless. The shower is spacious but lacks proper ventilation. Overall, the apartment is comfortable, although the kitchen is compact and the dining table needs to be moved each time you sit down. There’s also a lovely balcony overlooking the building’s garden, which is a definite plus. We were particularly impressed by the comprehensive information booklet provided complete with photos and diagrams. The host, Lisa, was friendly, responsive, and kindly allowed us an early check in, which we greatly appreciated.

good stay.

Location is not central, but still in good neighborhood with a parking spot. grocery very close.

Although there was a detailed lengthy instruction to parking spot, inside parking was dark and it was little difficult to find the spot. Location about 30 minute walk to old town. apartment is not dirty, but needs little touch up. no proper dining table. We booked more than ten accommodations though out our trip and this was a only apartment requesting deposit info for damage. The apartment had nothing fancy but old basic furnishings with tacky decor.

Great stay in beautiful Lyon

Communication from the host Lisa was excellent. It's a lovely apartment with great facilities (and comprehensive instructions for both arrival & facilities :)) located in a quiet residential area and within easy reach of the city centre, by foot or metro. Travel to and from the airport was also very straightforward. Local facilities are also great with cafes / restaurants and a supermarket on your doorstep.

Perfect launching pad to explore Lyon.

Nice, comfortable apartment — nice living room to unwind, great balcony, functional kitchen, exceptional shower — in a truly perfect location: quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes from Halles market, 10 minutes from virtually anything else you could want. It was a lovely place from which to explore Lyon.

Small things: temp was fine for spring temperatures, but would be rough in summer. Couch and bed weren’t great for a bad back, but probably fine for most…

Superb

The host worked very hard to make our stay exceptional. Answered all our inquiries on restaurants, cooking schools etc. Garage space is a plus. Residential area is quiet but close to river, resturaunts, food shopping and old Lyon by metro.

Great host, lovely balcony, excellent location, washroom needs some updating.

Lisa is the best host I’ve ever had! She made check in and check out so easy and was extremely flexible. Her instructions are amazing. She is what we liked the most about this property!

The apt floor was dirty/dusty, due to new floor installation in the elevator area and no floor mat in front of the apt door. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet base properly. It was uncomfortable to sit for more than 20 seconds. We used the toilet at our friend’s apt instead.

Very nice and big appartment. Owner very professional. A perfect opportunaty against a hotel room.

The entry procedure was perfectly explained and organized. Ones inside the appartment, two coöplete sets of keys were available. The appartment is fully equiped. Nothing is missing. The contact with the owner is easy and highly reactive. The appartment is perfectly located for city trips. Bars and Restaurants all arround.

I am tall, so a bed a bit longer would be perfect. A TV is available in the sleeping room, but it didn´t work. Not a real problem, but if something is available it should work.

Well-organized apartment in a nice area

The contactless check-in/check-out process was well-organized and instructions in the apartment were well laid out. Contact to owner was easy and pleasant. The kitchen was well-equipped. Nice, quiet neighborhood with a supermarket across the street. A wonderful restaurant called 'Le Book Lard' and "Les Halles Paul Bocuse" nearby. A secure parking space.

The dining room table and the bar stools were difficult for us (not very tall people and late 50s) to use so we had to eat our meals in the living room.

Een heerlijk appartement op een fijne locatie.

De locatie is een aangename, rustige woonwijk met veel winkels en goede restaurant. Op loopafstand veel bezienswaardigheden.

Helaas had het beddegoed te veel polyester voor een allergische gast.
