We both enjoyed our breakfast, great staff, great choice of things to have, nothing is over the top just good honest service.
I haven,t disliked anything at this Hotel all the times I have stayed there.

The staff were engaging and helpful.
The food was excellent and drink choices brilliant including breakfasts and paying for meals in the bar.
The garden was beautiful and relaxing
Hairdryer, and toiletries provided, plenty of storage for clothes for a couple of nights
TV and tea, coffee, milk and cold water provided and biscuits
We found room 4 was too small for 2 adults and felt claustrophobic sleeping in the room for 2 nights. It had no view, only of roof top.
No place for large shower towels after use only one ring for hand towels.

It offered a typical English breakfast and was in a great location. It wasn't mentioned on the booking.com page, but the property actually accepts dogs—provided they aren't too large; I only found this out upon arrival and was unfortunately disappointed, as I had left my dog with a friend.
There was a lot of traffic noise in our room when the window was open, but if we kept the windows closed, it got very hot; also, the bathroom was a bit small...

Stopped over for one night en route to the SW. Very nice room with a separate living area. Pub was good for food and drinks, and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Lots of parking and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
