Greyhound Inn

Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and comfortable and the food we ate was lovely and well cooked.

We stayed one night in this hotel and chose to dine there in the evening. Dinner was traditional English pub food and there were some nice draught beers on tap, including a local Dorset one. The room was excellent. Although just two of us, we had a room for 3 people which included both a double bedroom and a lounge (with an extra bed in it). Had we been there for longer and in bad weather, that facility would have been very useful. It also had teac and coffees in it. The bathroom was huge and included both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The full-English breakfast next morning was excellent. We were lucky to be able to watch Morris dancers in the evening too.

Minor point, but the jets on the shower head could have given out a more even spray. I don't recall much else of issue other than I missed the turn to the car park initially, the front one being roped off for the evening's Morris dancing entertainment.

Spacious room with a modern bathroom. Very friendly staff. Great to stay in a country pub and meet some locals. Dinner menu was excellent. Breakfast choice and quality also excellent. Also near the Bovington Tank Museum - an unexpected must-see bonus. Thanks so much for a great stay.
