CHECK inn Taipei Main Station

I loved this hotel! It is a short walk from Taipei Main Station and an even shorter walk from an MRT station (NTU Hospital). It is across the street from the National Taiwan Museum and very convenient to many interesting sites, markets, and food options. The room was modern and attractive and in very good condition. The hotel was very quiet despite its central location. Bed was super comfy. Good quality linens. Free wifi and bottled water (as well as filtered water available for refilling nondisposable water bottle). Breakfast is not available from the hotel. There is a great (and very very inexpensive) traditional Taiwanese breakfast spot directly across the street. Staff were very pleasant, professional, and helpful. I did not expect this high quality from the hotel at this price point. I would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends.

The location of the property is excellent and the room was comfortable. Very friendly staff who spoke perfect English. There was a great bathroom with a powerful shower.

The room could have done with a little paint as it was peeling but nothing major. Checkin was not until 4pm which may be an issue for some people.

Great location, accessible to major transportation hubs, shops and restaurants. Walking distance to major attractions such as Ximending, CKS Memorial Hall, museum. AC actually works which is rare in accommodation in Taiwan as most are locked in one temperature and the room is well ventilated. Helpful staff and very clear communication from start to finish.

The bathroom design was a bit unusual.

The location near the red line was perfect. The staff were friendly and the check in and check out process was easy. Everything was clean.

Some of the facilities are a little dated and the room was small.
