Uma Budhas

I like everything over there, best stay in Bali. The Resort was so peacuful, silent and great atmosphere. Room was very nice, and so good for this money. Host was very nice and warm guy, and he makes excellent breakfeast. Neighbour lady from Germany was very nice also.

I would like to give a shout-out of gratitude and appreciation to I Wayan Budastra, the host of the guesthouse. His exceptional kindness and quick-off the mark eagerness to help will always leave you on cloud nine , if staying at Uma Budhas. He will cook you a wonderful breakfast, will keep every single corner of the area clean, and will assist you all the way through if you happen to lose your phone :)

Nonetheless, regardless of what I have said about the host, one should bear in mind that a host is not the only person to have a direct impact on the comfort of your stay. And I must say that even though the host is an amazing person, there was a huge drawback of staying at Uma Budhas. The thing is that there is a permanent guest at Uma budhas who stays there for approximately 6-8 months a year on a regular basis and happened to be staying in a villa next to mine last time I was there. That grumpy old German lady, presumptuously considering herself a part of I Wayan’s lovely family, will make sure to take her time to teach you how to live and will be making annoying comments on whatever you do. If you are a remote worker like me, rest assured she will not let you use the kitchen to fix yourself a dinner or attend a Zoom-meeting peacefully sitting on your veranda cause she cannot read her book inside. She will force you to be working indoors so as to not disturb her, and there are many more things that I have omitted here. So before booking your stay here, I suggest you consider how much comfort you are seeking. I would definitely recommend you to stay at Uma Budhas either when she is not around (that makes 3 months a year, better contact the host to ascertain she is not there) OR if you are not planning to be staying indoors much, thus needing a mere sleeping spot. That being said, I would love to express my gratitude to I Wayan Budastra again for doing his best to make your stay neat.

We are back! At the place to be on Bali. Again Wayan and his family made us feel at home at Uma Budhas. They do their utmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Since last time they have made some improvements as a water cooker and coffee/tea in each villa and dark curtains to keep the (morning-)light outside. Also all the villa's did get a new paint inside. What did not change is the hospitality of this friendly family. The breakfast is always served with a smile and the homemade nasi goreng is the best we ever tasted. The big king size bed is as comfortable as we remember. If you have any questions or a request on any subject you just ask Wayan and he will help you. We definitely come back again!

We had to leave too soon

TV did not work. The bathroom had bugs as did our bed. I looked for more bugs and cought them and put them outside but the bathroom stones of the shower were growing mold and the lower part of the walls were not cleaned as was the floor not so clean.

- Quite and relaxing accommodation amid rice paddies. - Very close to a hidden beautiful waterfall. - Spacious room. - The open roof bathroom is unique experience. - Very lovely family. Wayan is supportive and not pushy, unlike others who tend to aggressively push their services. - Clean and tidey, considering it is in Ubud 😁 - Nice swimming pool

- It would be great to have electrical kettle and small cooler (fridge) in the rooms. However Wayan was very supportive in providing us with hot water and space in the main fridge. - Breakfast is delicious, but it would be nice to make it more diverse (more than just two options)

Nuestra estancia en este homestay de Ubud fue muy buena. El desayuno cada mañana fue un lujo: fruta fresca recién cortada, diferentes opciones para elegir y café recién preparado. Todo estaba impecable; cada día, mientras salíamos a explorar, limpiaban la habitación y al volver la encontrábamos perfecta. La piscina y el recinto en general son preciosos, muy bien cuidados y con un ambiente relajante. Sin duda, lo que más nos llevamos es la amabilidad de la familia que siempre estaban dispuestos ayudar. Además, si necesitas servicio de lavandería, el dueño conoce a alguien que viene a recogerla a la misma villa y en un día la tienes lista.

Localización ya que no está cerca del centro y a veces Go jek o Grab no llegaban, lo recomendable es alquilar moto, como en nuestro caso, el mismo dueño nos ayudo amablemente a conseguirla. De esta manera, en 15-20 minutos llegábamos al centro de Ubud.

Отель состоит всего из 3-х домиков, 2 из которых занимали мы, а в третьем никого не было. Всего жили 3 дня. Бассейн был чистый, кровати удобные, номера очень просторные. Понравился душ под открытым небом, мечтала принять душ во время дождя, но дождей не было. Просьба к хозяевам - положить шапочки для душа в номер. Бассейн был чистый и прохладный, купались с удовольствием. Хозяева очень приятные, живут там же, все время кто-то из них был на виду и готов помочь в любых вопросах.

Жуткие пробки в самом Убуде. первый раз поехали на своей машине - не было мест на официальной парковке, кое-как нашли где пристроиться. Второй раз решили поехать на такси - получилось еще дольше: на обратном пути 30мин просто стояли без движения, решили больше в центр не ездить. А вот окрестности - водопады и рисовые поля - понравились.

Privat geführte Unterkunft mit 3 Villen und Swimming-Pool in einem ruhigen Gebiet (Restaurant fussläufig, mit dem Scooter / Grab ist man schnell in Ubud und Umgebung. Tolle Gastfamilie, die einem alle Fragen beantwortet und gute Tipps gibt. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher und offenem, Bad. Frühstück wurde immer frisch zubereitet und es gab eine schöne Auswahl. Kostenloses Wifi war zu jeder Zeit verfügbar Meine Kinder und ich haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

Le logement se situe à l'écart des routes bruyantes et est donc très silencieux ce qui rend le séjour très agréable. L'intérieur est confort et avec des rangements ainsi qu'un frigo. L'hôte est adorable et fournit deux bouteilles d'eau tous les matins. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux ! Plusieurs warung dans la rue ainsi que une cascade. Je recommande à 100%

La tranquillité due à l'emplacement rend plus compliqué les excursions vers le centre mais il reste très accessible en voiture ou scooter

Sitio muy acogedor, habitaciones cómodas y limpias, todos los días nos limpiaron las habitaciones, desayuno muy completos los dueños fueron muy serviciales y nos ayudaron alquilar la moto a muy buen precio

El baño, la parte de la ducha es al aire libre pero cómoda con agua caliente, algún insecto se cuela en la ducha pero es parte de la naturaleza en Bali
