Location, nice balcony, cleanliness

We thought the arrival description was quite misleading (no clear explanation if parking was located at the apartment or where the keys were picked up or behind which gate our parking was located) - I read in other guest comments that we were not the only ones having problems. Batteries of the remote control had run out so that we couldn't use the TV. We reported the issue upon arrival around 6pm and the next day in the afternoon bought our own batteries as it had not been fixed (the gentleman from maintenance only arrived the 2nd evening after we fixed it ourselves).

Pleasant

Good location for getting around in Bremerhaven (though not much to see during lockdown). We also got a free parking spot. And the place is well equipped.

Welcome was rather unfriendly. When the 4 of us walked up towards the flat, and the old lady said: Let’s take the elevator, we were hesitant. 4 people in s small elevator, even if all with masks, does not seem a great idea. Upon voicing that the three of us rather walk, we were met with consternation. Flat itself was okay, but be aware that the view has been reduced to about 30%, the rest is just more flats. There was also unfortunately a rather irritating smell, maybe smokers or pets? And neither sofa bed nor beds were really comfortable. We also had to clean plates, cutlery and decided in the end not to us the coffee machine at all. All in all, we are not planning to come back here.

Schwarze Schimmel- und Sporflecken in der Dusche an den Fliesenfugen in der Dusche und an den Duschlippen trüben den leider sonst guten Eindruck
