Mpole Bungalows

Chef Kai was sooooo nice! He is the best cook and has an amazing Junior Chef! We had a blast with him and the whole team! Asante!!! The price for the drinks and the food is absolutely fair! The accommodation is a suuuper fair price as well. All other staff members, the gardener, the cleaning team & everybody taking care of food and drinks is just so nice. The outside of the Mpole is very nice as well and the beach is only 1 min away.

The beds weren’t 2meters which was a little hard as my partner is 2meters. But we had the chance to check, if we could just chance the room, but the beds weren’t bigger either. Some mosquito net also have little wholes in it and the generator can be quite loud, but it was no problem for us. Most of the time the WiFi worked, but it can sometimes happen, that it doesn’t work for a moment.

Unser Aufenthalt in den Mpole Bungalows war einfach von vorne bis hinten unfassbar gut! Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet und verzaubert mit einer herrlich familiären Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Auch die Bungalows und Zimmer sind absolut toll, super gemütlich und laden richtig zum Wohlfühlen ein. Ein riesiges Highlight war das Essen: Der Koch zaubert wirklich leckere Gerichte und geht auf jede individuelle Bitte ein. Besonders das Swahili-Dinner war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, bei dem wir tief in eine ganz neue, faszinierende Welt der Speisen eintauchen durften. Ein toller Pluspunkt sind auch die großartigen Ausflüge mit Kassim von „Oh lala“, die man ganz unkompliziert direkt über das Hotel anfragen kann. Unsere Touren zum Schnorcheln, das Schwimmen mit Delfinen bei der Insel Pungume und das traumhafte Sandbank-BBQ waren absolute Highlights. Ein riesiges Dankeschön für diese wunderschöne Zeit – wir kommen definitiv wieder! Nicole&Alex

The location was great for beach access. It was a really nice community set up of bungalows. Quiet.

The generators not being turned on when the power went out. The fan in my room barely worked making my stay uncomfortable. The room and bathroom needed freshening up.
