The location of this property is very good and their price is also very attractive. However, the room i booked in the agoda, was a Delux double room, but the gave me a standard room instead of delux double. In the description, there was water bottle for the room, but they didn't provide me any. In the second day, when i have confronted their reception about this issue and asked clarification, they tried to compensate me with a better room that they supposed to give me in the first day. I was planning to extend for more two days after hearing the news of upgraded( which was actually the room i booked) , but they suggested to extend from their office with cash payment of *** . Upon telling them that in app, the room is *** for me with agoda discount, they agreed to provide me that room for *** with a discount.
They call me to see that room and when i agreed to shift to that better room, the staff from the first day who gave me the standard room, came and started telling me that i need to pay extra 20000 shillings if i want to shift to that better room today because my booking is till tomorrow. Then i explained that the office has told me to shift today. Then he talked to them something in their language and they turn their back. Then their manager came, who is a rude lady , started telling that they have some rules and i need to pay extra to shift into that new room. But it was them who offered me that room to shift into in the first place. And then, that lady said that i have to pay *** (instead of their discounted price *** ) for each day.
When i confronted that if this is the case, then why did u offered me that price and informed me to shift from today??
She said that it was a misunderstanding from them. And she is the manager, whatever she is telling that is last. If i want to extend, i have to agree to her deal. But even if i extend from the app, they will give me a standard room instead of delux double room.
Thereby i didn't extend. They are very rude and each staff want to take advantage from the guests in terms of money.
