Fantastic hosts offering amazing, clean facilities - great location.

Villa Orange was perfect for us in so many ways. It was clean and spacious and had all the facilities we needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and good with communication and very understanding when I made an error with the booking. The location was ideal for driving 5 minutes into the old town in the evenings to absorb the array of evening entertainment and to watch the sun set over the sea. Just a 2 minute walk from the Villa are the most amazing bakery and take away, both offering fantastic value for money. We would definitely recommend Villa Orange.

A lovely 4 day break which was so chilled. The pool made it, it was so warm. Owners fantastic.

The heated pool is really lovely. The owners could not have been more helpful, they really do care that your stay goes without a hitch and will do anything to help. They are extremely generous as well, leaving morning pastries and cooked for us one evening. Haven't had that kindness anywhere else EVER. There is a shop, take away place, bakers, bar and coffee place on your doorstep so you don't need to go into town each night, it's easy to cater for yourself or get a take out from the pizza/kebab place just on the corner if you don't want to shop and cook for yourself - the pizza was very good from there.

It's a little way out of town - walkable if your fit, (up hill coming home) but one of our party wasn't able to walk that far (about 35 minutes to the old town) so we had to get taxi's, but they are not expensive. The property is in a residential area so noise levels need to be considered. We were a party of 5 and there were only 4 sunbeds, but not a problem, we just took it in turns.

Exceptional

Mario and Nena are very accommodating, really lovely people. They cleaned the pool every morning, spoiled us with pastries (4 times!) for breakfast, barbecued meat and vegetables with salad and bread (twice), pancakes, peka (traditional Croatian dish: locally farmed chicken and vegetables cooked on a clay pot in the bbq), soup and salad - which was totally unexpected, and really yummy. The holiday home is really lovely, very clean, cozy, well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, mosquito screens...), in a quiet location, quite close to Zadar centre; bakery and supermarket are close by. The pool is the icing on the cake! Mario even turned the temperature of the pool up on cooler days, so the water was as warm as in a bathtub. The house is perfect for 2 to 4 persons. We loved it and will definitely return to this little “paradise on earth”. Hvala Mario and Nena!

Everything was great, nothing to complain about, except maybe the very hungry mosquitoes, but that’s not the hosts’ fault... 😊.

Absolutely fantastic

The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was any trouble. They left fresh pastries in the mornings. Fresh melon and cooked us a traditional Croatian dinner on our last evening and served it up for us! Also we sat and had a drink with them on our last night. It was a perfect place to stay and visit zadar and great country.
