A perfect apartment in a perfect part of the world

I loved everything about this place! The interior was welcoming and classy, the location was fantastic, kitchenette was fully equipped, bathroom had a bathtub! The host was very kind and accommodating. I’m already planning a come back :) thank you

Great location, very nice apartment

The location was excellent. The apartment itself was very nice.

The bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. The air refreshment system. (Not air conditioning) didn’t seem to be working until the night before we left. There is a “MANUAL “ in the apartment that is really inadequate. Example: There is an induction cooktop in the apartment but no instructions on how safely & properly turn it on and off. After some trial and error we we able to figure it out. There were three remotes around the room one for the TV, one for the DVD player and one we discovered that controlled a light and a Fan with retractable blades. When we arrived the temperature in the apartment was around 79 degrees Fahrenheit so I sent a text to the manager asking about how to turn on the air conditioner (there is no air conditioner). The manager responded very promptly with a text telling me that there was no air conditioning but there was an air refreshment system which by the lights on the system appeared to be on but nothing was happening. On our last evening there (after about 4 days there finally appeared to be something happening with the air refreshment system ( at least it was making some noise indicating it might be doing something. Again some instructions on how to use it would have been nice. Overall some simple straightforward instructions on how to use thing properly would be nice.

Good but no interaction

Casa del Drago is a very nice place to stay in the very centre of beautiful Sulzano, most near to the boat embarkment, in a historic building. I was given the studio on the second floor that so nice, spacious, with a view to the lake and Monte Isola. The studio was two-levelled, with a kitchenette, and all the necessary utensils and a fridge. I wouldn't have wished for a better stay than that.

First, no communication with the host. I was given the keys to the property at a nearby hotel by a standoffish receptionist who clearly showed that Casa del Drago was not a property they managed. On the second night of my stay there was a thunderstorm and a power cut. After the electricity came on, a lamp on the ceiling switched on on its own accord, and there was nowhere to turn it off. I wrote to "the manager or owner" immediately but she showed no concern whatsoever, saying she had no clue how to turn off this supposedly emergency light. For the next four nights I had to sleep in a strong light, all the more this lamp was luminescent. Another thing is the windows have no netting against insects, so if you kept one open, you are at a great risk of flies in the day and mosquitos in the night.

Not good for 4 guests

Sofa bed, very uncomfortable. They say the ground floor apartment is for 4 but it is better for 2 guests maximum. You have to go through the only room to acceed to the bathroom and toilet.

Near the boat station and supermarket, clean, quiet and appropriately equipped little appartment. Reception of keys at a nearby hotel.

You can park your car at a paying lot in about 2-min walking distance. You can approach the appartment for a couple of minutes to load and unload the lugagge. Not very comfortable but OK for one overnight. Bed a bit unusual to unfold.

no HOT water messed up our vacation, but even worst that host has not responded my question about water at all. I don't know if it's boiler issue or something else. but at least you could reply :(

The appartment has great location to visit the lake. It's a really pretty place, very clean with all you need to have a great time there.

Everything was good but there was a bad smell like mold maybe from humidity due to the lake near the appartment. It was very strong and it was a little bit disturbing.

They could have left at least a bottle of water and some tea and coffee. The soaps provided were also very low quality.

The location was great, right in front of the lake. The apartment is modern and everything was very clean. In the 1st floor apartment, there is a very nice bathtub with hydromassage.

Great location for getting out onto the lake

Great location, perfect for getting the boat around the lake and to visit Monte Isola for dinner. Has close ties to the Hotel Riva Lago as well which is a 100m walk away with gardens on the lake to enjoy a drink.

Nothing, it was a great night stopover. I would say Sulzano is small but a great base for the rest of the lake.

Wonderful Stay

The room is cosy, clean , newly furnished and tidy. It is just next to the pier for the ferry to Mote Isola island. It is very convenient. The host is very friendly and left us all the information we need for our journey.

Bella struttura vicino a una piccolissima spiaggia sassosa

Il wi-fi non ha mai funzionato durante tutto il soggiorno, nonostante la mia segnalazione il giorno stesso dell’arrivo. Il gestore è intervenuto soltanto dopo diverse mie sollecitazioni, e comunque all’ora di pranzo del giorno prima della partenza (check-out alle 10:00), quindi troppo tardi per rimediare al disservizio. Avevo scelto questa struttura proprio perché indicava la presenza del wi-fi, fondamentale per il mio lavoro, ma sono stata costretta ad anticipare il rientro. Ho chiesto il rimborso della giornata non fruita, ma non ho ricevuto riscontro positivo. Sconsigliata a chi ha necessità di connessione internet.

Soffitti meravigliosi e vasca idromassaggio a due passi dal lago

Vicinanza al lago, ampia corte fuori dell'alloggio al pianterreno. Vasca idromassaggio. Gentilezza dell'host per i bagagli. Splendida locazione, intima e con bellissime volte restaurate nonchè un affresco.

Non ho osservazioni negative. Forse un tappeto più lungo per la vasca potrebbe far bagnare di meno il pavimento del bagno quando ci si sciacqua ;)

Sulzano e' un borgo bello e tranquillo, molto comodo a traghetto e treno.

Non so se mi è sfuggito ma la colazione non era inclusa, quindi non posso dare un giudizio. Posizione ottima.

Aggiungerei la lavatrice, considerando che è un luogo anche di balneazione.

Schön eingerichtetes Appartement. Zentrale Lage im Ort, sehr nah am See gelegen. Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz (nicht zum Haus zugehörig) für 10,-€ am Tag fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar.
