About this apartment rental

Our apartment is brand new in a traditional Italian building. It is stylish, sleek, and has the most incredible panoramic views of the lake from its' two balconies, with surrounding large windows. Yes you will see the floating piers from the balcony or less then 5 minute walk to the entrance from Sulzano. There are two large bedrooms, one with a king bed, and one with a queen bed. The living room has a sofa that pulls out to sleep one very comfortably. There is one bathroom and an additional toilet in the laundry room. The bathroom has a rain shower and large relaxing whirlpool spa. It is located steps away from the lake and main town that has a train station, ferry, grocery store, pharmacy, butcher shop, fruit shop, restaurants and bars. As close as it is to the main town it is set back and very quiet. A garaged parking space is provided. Come and enjoy our modern european luxuries in the beautiful lake side town of Sulzano! Just few km away from Franciacorta area!

Immaculate property in small town with beautiful views of the lake. Sulzano was very peaceful during our stay in early June - we swam in the lake each day, took the ferry to have dinner at Monte Isola and made use of the nearby train station to explore the wider area. The apartment is very high spec and you can tell it is loved by the owners and very well cared for by Mariangela. It made a wonderful base for a delightful short break. Grazie Mille!

We had a wonderful week in this apartment. So much to explore and also a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the sunset over the lake. The town is cute and has all the necessities. Easy to take the ferry over to Monte Isola, which was lovely. Maria Angela was absolutely wonderful and her tour and check in in Italian was even understandable with no Italian!

We enjoyed our stay in Sulzano. The apartment is wonderful, great attention to detail. Centrally located, 5 minutes to the station with options to go to Bergamo, Brescia and Milano. Public transport in Italy is expectionally good. Also in walking distance are restaurants, bars and the ferry to Monte Isola.

We were greeted by Bernard’s mom , who managed, with no English, to be able to explain the important info about the flat. She was so patient with us, knowing very little Italian, and trying to use Google translate. We chose Bernard’s flat in Sulzano knowing it was very central to things we wanted to do around Lago di Iseo. We walked to the ferry 2 days and then walked all over Monte Isola. We walked up to a fabulous restaurant 2 evenings that looked out over the lake. We also drove around the lake and spent 2 days exploring Iseo as well as went on a wine tour. Bernard’s home was so clean and comfortable, it seemed newly renovated, though I think mostly because it is so well maintained. We would definitely recommend the flat!

It was a great stay even in early April. The apartment was super clean and very well equipped, especially with good gadgets. There is a Railway Station in a distance of about 150 m and the chance to ride around parts of the lake. A ferry is going to an island which is reached in 5 minutes.

Lovely apartment with all the necessities and close to everything. We were there during the off season but enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The bar on the lake down the hill was amazing and the restaurant up the hill was delicious. Highly recommend!

What can I say, just wow. Roberto's apartment is just superb, great lake views and a well appointed balcony. Its a very clean and modern apartment with ample room for 4 people. Its a very short walk to the centre of the village and ferry station and the train station. The train is great for 'village hopping' around the lake. Also a short transfer from Burgamo Airport. We picked a hire car so we could get the the big supermarket and drive wround the lake on the twisty roads that hug the shore line. 25 mins from airport at most. Great communication from Roberto during our stay, which wad appreciated when I lost my bag and his mum is local also who is great. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

We loved this place. Spectacular view of the lake, super modern and hip interior design, very clean, very well equipped kitchen, awesome beds and linens, few blocks to the lake(which is gorgeous), super-responsive owners, great low-key town (non touristy) and best of all, the owners' mom who came to let us in and show us around. Only hesitation in writing this review is we want to come back and we don't want it to be booked!

The apartment is very comfortable although the bed was a bit soft for my back. There is a pleasant west facing balcony overlooking the lake, which does get a bit hot in the afternoon, but includes two curtains which can be pulled across to add shade and help cool it. Unlike previous reviewers we did find the trains to be a problem in the early morning when they generally woke us up (the first train comes through at 5.20am and then every 15-20 minutes thereafter), although we got used to them during the day and didn't really notice them. Sulzano is a charming town with good bars and restaurants and access to other parts of the lake by public boat. Good supermarkets can be found in Iseo about a 10 minute drive away. We spent most of our time hiking in the mountains around Sulzano and found plenty of tracks to keep us busy for 2 weeks. A very good hiking map is available from the Information Point in Sulzano for only 2 euros.

This is a wonderful apartment to spend a week in Sulzano and around Lago d'Iseo. Close to the train line, it is an easy walk from the station. Our host (on behalf of her son Roberto), Maria, was friendly and waving to us from the balcony as we approached. Although we speak only a little Italian and Maria only a little English, we managed just fine. The apartment has 2 good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds, a well-fitted out laundry. The lounge, kitchen and dining had everything we needed too. The bathroom was modern and spacious and was augmented by a second toilet in the laundry. The balcony has a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounds. It’s a short walk down to the lake to catch a range of boats which go to other towns and villages around the lake. There’s a good supermarket, one butcher and one general store - all with very helpful folks selling local produce. Our hosts had recommended a great local restaurant – Trattatoria Cacciatori which we enjoyed twice - very much. The apartment, and the town of Sulzano, make a great base for getting around Lago d'Iseo and nearby places such as Brescia, due to the ferry and services.

We recently had a 6 night stay in Sulzano and stayed in this home for the second time. We found it once again to be a well presented property with a multitude of assets. It was a clean, simple apartment which had everything we needed whilst on vacation. The apartment is adjacent to a railway line, and trains pass every twenty minutes or so, but cease at night. This, in our view does not detract from the property as the railway line actually leaves an open space on the west side which maximizes the amazing view. If arriving or leaving by train the station is about a 200m walk! There are numerous activities in the area to keep one occupied and many nearby interesting towns. This is a beautiful apartment located on the first floor of a three floor block. It is in the sleepy town of Salzano, but there are good road and rail connections. We drove from Milan Linate Airport but next time we would use the trains, as the Sulzano station is just a few yards away from the apartment. There's a small supermarket, bakers and a couple of bars. For a good restaurant we found Iseo has a great selection. The boat ferries are easy and timely to use. Mount Isol is just minutes away and worth the trip. Jenny and Roberto's beautifully refurbished apartment is amongst the best we have stayed in Italy over the past twenty years. They offer a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and for the tea lovers, a KETTLE! Yes ... really. It is tastefully furnished and decorated, the kitchen in particular is very well-equipped, and it has a very comfortable bed with top quality linen. It was absolutely spotless and well-maintained. Roberto's Mother greeted us, a totally charming, very welcoming woman. The apartment is right near the railway line but the trains are infrequent and there was no noise to speak of. Sulzano, although very small, has several good restaurants, a small supermarket, fruit shop, butcher but the big bonus is that you can easily travel up and down the train line to larger places. Just across the water is Monte Isola with more restaurants, bike riding and walks. The ferry service is frequent and good. We stayed for seven nights and had no trouble filling our time. I highly recommend this property for a restful soggiorno.

Our family of 3 have just spent 2 weeks in this beautiful apartment. The accommodation is situated in a small town close to many larger towns which are readily accessible by car or train. The owners Robert & Jenny (and his mother) were always prompt and easy to deal with. They presented the apartment in immaculate condition. Whilst there are numerous good restaurants and cafes nearby, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the amenities we required. The views from the living area and balconies are quite incredible. We were able to enjoy a number of trips to the local towns, and a couple of longer journeys to meet friends. If cycling is of interest, this region has numerous memorable routes. The apartment was immaculate and very modern. One tiny complaint- the plug in the basin in the bathroom did not work. But that was a very tiny tiny minus. The positioning of the apartment was very close to Sulzano centre where all the shops and bars and restaurants were. It was also very near the train station, and the ferry terminal, both giving opportunities for further travel. We went over to Monte Isola a few times, and went on a ferry taking us around the island. There were fabulous views. In fact you had a fabulous view from the apartment. The Tratatoria Cacciatore had great food and fabulous views and was easily walkable from the apartment. As were the bars at the lakeside. Everyone was very friendly and made us very welcome. At the station there was a water fountain which gave us cold natural water and cold sparkling water -for free. Iseo town itself was a lovely visit - we went by train. And we also went to Brescia by train - it was a lovely visit too. All in all a week is not long enough! And Lake Iseo ,being a smaller lake than Como etc made a much more quieter base for our visit. We loved it. Thank you Roberto and Jennifer , and of course Maria for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. Roberto immediately replied to any question asked of him, and his mother Maria was very welcoming. We would recommend this apartment in Sulzano to everyone.

We found this apartment fully equipped and very clean, Modern and very nice layout with a Fantastic Balcony with the most Spectacular view of Monte Isola and Lake Iseo. It is very centrally Located on Lake Iseo and you could eaily reach various other places. we Visited Milano, Verona, Lake Garda & Sirminione, Riva di Garda-a most beautiful place full of Tourists and Restaurants. Sulzano is also very nice and you could find a Supermarket, Bars, Cafeterias and restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommended and will visit again!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und modern ausgestattet, Klimaanlagen in allen Zimmern, hochwertige Möbel und eine sehr schöne Küche. Vom Balkon hat man eine tolle Aussicht. Durch die zentrale Lage ist der Standort ideal für Aktivurlauber. Mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell auf der Umgehungsstraße, um Ziele in der Natur zum Wandern oder die nahegelegenen Städte wie z.B. Brescia, Bergamo oder Verona zu erreichen. Der Bahnhof ist nur ca. 100m entfernt, so daß auch Ausflüge mit der Bahn bequem möglich sind. Sulzano ist sehr ruhig und nicht zu touristisch, kleine Märkte für den täglichen Bedarf und einige Restaurants lassen sich gut zu Fuß erreichen. Wenn man Fragen hat, reagieren Roberto und seinen Mutter sofort mit größter Freundlichkeit.

Roberto and Jennifer's property in Sulzano has the Wow factor as soon as you walk through the door. It is ideally situated in Sulzano, with access within short walking distances to both the train station and the Iseo Lake ferry service giving you easy access to all the other ares of the lake if you wish to travel around. The Apartment itself is on the second floor of a three floor block and it has its own parking bay in a 2 car shared garage. The perimeter of the site is very secure and you have keys for the drive and main gate entrance and remote fob for the garage door. The inside of the apartment has been fitted with very modern and top of the range kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture, the lounge has a very comfortable settee facing the Samsung Smart TV. The two balconies are ideally positioned so it is more or less possible to catch the sun virtually the whole of the day, the main one that is positioned directly from the kitchen area has direct views of the lake and you can sit and watch the sun disappear at sunset behind the mountains and the island of Monte isola ( to which you can catch the ferry for 5Euros return ticket P/P. ) This was our first Visit to Lake Iseo and Roberto and Jenny's apartment and would thoroughly recommend both to anyone thinking of visiting this beautiful area of Italy. You won't be disappointed

As a family of four with two young children, we really appreciated the conveniences of Roberto and Jenny's home (full kitchen, laundry with dryer). The views from the apartment are spectacular and it is across the street from lake swim and ferry access. It was very helpful to have parking as well. The owners were prompt to respond to any questions prior to and during our stay and had a family member on site to greet us on arrival and departure. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything at this apartment was as advertised and more. The wrap around balconies provided beautiful views in all directions. Views of the lake and the island were exceptional. The inside is modern and well equipped. The windows and window shades allowed full views of the lake while also being able to block out all light for sleeping. Working with the owners, Roberto and Jenny, was easy and they were always available when needed. We felt Sulzano was a great location to stay on the lake. Very easy access to the train or ferry.

Great location great apartment

Great location great apartment

Beautiful modern well equipped apartment with wonderful views. My wife and 8 month old daughter stayed here for a week and we were very happy with it. The boat to Monte Isola is only a 5 minute walk away. It takes only 5 minutes to get there and goes every 5 minutes. We had dinner over there a couple times and walked around the island. Really nice! Also recommend visiting Iseo which is a 10 minute drive. Great for evening walks and dinner. Really wonderful stay. Highly recommend it!
