Room 14

El alojamiento estuvo bien, cómodo dentro de lo que vale, la cama cómoda y la ubicación más o menos bien.

Nos cobraron al llegar una cuota de impuesto de turismo de 12€ del cual no nos dieron factura ni nada.

La literie confortable, la taille de la chambre familiale correcte, la salle de douche . Serviettes changées tous les jours. Proche du métro Bologna et bus. Une supérette à 2 rues.

L’odeur de tabac froid a l accueil. Le réglage de l eau chaude dans la douche.

.My fiancée and I had an absolutely perfect stay at Room 14 and were honestly surprised to see any mixed feedback in other reviews. Our experience was flawless from start to finish, and we believe this place is a true gem for anyone visiting Rome. We found the location to be ideal. While not in the chaotic tourist center, the property is situated in the lovely, authentic Nomentano neighborhood, which gave us a real taste of local life. It was just a short walk to the metro, making it incredibly easy and fast to get to all the major sights like the Colosseum or the Vatican. This convenience was matched by the seamless check-in process. We arrived in Rome early in the morning, and the clear instructions and flexible check-in hours allowed us to access the room without any stress, letting us settle in and start our adventure right away. The outstanding experience was largely thanks to the host. From the moment we booked, their communication was exceptional—prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. It's clear they care a great deal about their guests, and this is reflected in the immaculate condition of the room. We were so impressed with the cleanliness; everything from the bathroom to the linens was spotless, which made our stay feel comfortable and safe. Honestly, we can't recommend Room 14 enough. If you are looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay with fantastic hosts, look no further. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

Nothing to dislike.

* The location is good, the apartment is situated very close to the Bologna metro station, which allows to reach easily touristic attractions like Coloseum or Saint Paul outside the walls church. We came from Ciampino and we took the bus to Laurentina and from there the metro took us directly to the Bologna station. There are also supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries in the area, where one can get breakfast or dinner and the area is pretty quiet. * The room was large enough and the building itself looked pretty well.

* The bed was double and big, but it had 2 separate 1 person mattresses, which was quite unexpected. * The fridge did not work. It was functioning, but it did not cool anything. We asked Samuel about it and he said he would send someone to have a look, but nothing changed. * The cleaning was done kind of superficially: we used the cups that were available in the room, and they were not cleaned, and some times the floor was not vacuumed. It wouldn't have been a big deal to clean the cups up ourselves, but there was not detergent available as there was no kitchen in the apartment. The biggest inconvenience here was that there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom (which did not have a window). * There were no glasses or bottle openers available. We did ask about them and Samuel said they are going to provide some, but it did not happen. We bought a bottle opener and left it in the room, hopefully the next guests don't have to search for places to buy one. * In the bathroom, there were 1 small 2 in 1 shampoo/shower gel pe person, which is far from being enough. That was not a big deal as the supermarket was pretty close so we could buy from ourselves. I would say that those small things that were missing were not a deal breaker, but we did notice they were missing, since they were available anywhere else we stayed in Italy. The most important minuses are the mattress and the smell coming from the bathroom.
