Frankies Lodge

It was as I expected so didn't disappoint. Scott supported us with an issue we had, he was great. Would stat again. Very restful.

It was great

Lovely warm room, comfy bed, everything you need. No complaints whatsoever. Clean cozy

Trying to get into or even find the place in the dark. I went to the wrong door/keysafe so it didn't work. Certain members of staff in the restaurant which was once linked to it were rude. Obviously fed up of people not being able to find it. At no point did they suggest I was at the wrong door. I phoned the number on Booking.com once another staff member signed me onto their WiFi. Answered by the original staff member with.."I tell you last time, this is not the number, they need to update " I hadn't phoned previously. In the end a local resident helped me. They were fed up too. They had people knocking on there door at midnight trying to gain entry. The gentleman upstairs said it had taken him an hour to gain entry. Very stressful. It's such a shame, once they sort this, the rooms are lovely!!! The restaurant next door used to be Frankies which I'm guessing is where the confusion comes from. There is also no phone or email signal out side, so you can't check the booking or phone for help.

It was central to were we needed to be and parking on the door step too,And very comfortable.👍

Nothing

Not a great deal but we didn’t expect much. We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby to Disley. It’s right in the centre of Disley opposite two of the main pubs in the village so it’s conveniently located in that aspect.

Due its location on one of the main roads of the village, noise from traffic and pub goers is an issue, particularly if you’re stuck having to have the windows open due to it being so warm in the room. Room itself could have done with a more thorough clean too - wall mounted fan was caked in dust so had to clean it ourselves before using.
