Le Domaine de Cordey

Amazing gorgeous place with character. Quiet, surrounded by nature. And Marie-Alice is such a lovely person!

Wifi did not work in the attick I stayed.

Le ciel sur terre, nous voulons rester pour toujours ! Les chambres ont été renové avec du bon gout, les propriétaires super sympa et nous avons fait de nouveaux amis.

Location was superb, very quiet. Hosts couldn't do enough for us. Food was fabulous. Set menu as threre were no other guests

Our hostess cooked suppers for us - they were unexpectedly good.

The house was cold: it was mid-October and the central heating was not on: we had a small radiator in our room. In the vast sitting room there was a log fire which heated a small part of the room, but doors were left open and there were no curtains against the huge single glazed windows. This is a fairly historic house, but potential guests need to be aware of the issues in autumn/winter. It may be more comfortable in the summer. The shower room we had was not good: a very inadequate shower and no heating (a plug in fan heater was offered). The advertised Wi-Fi was not functioning, though eventually it was fixed. The stairs were unlit - candles were placed on the stairs. A medium sized dog runs around the house all the time.
