Beautiful design and comfort right next to Souda beach.

We had an outstanding stay at this villa. Everything feels brand new, from the modern equipment to the almost Olympic-sized 20 m pool. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and WC, and the air conditioning is perfectly positioned — powerful, silent, and never blowing directly onto the beds. The hosts, Manolis and Maria, are a lovely local couple who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The location is excellent: three beaches (one big with umbrellas, one small sand beach where you need own umbrellas, one wild rocky cove) are just 1–4 minutes’ walk away, and two tavernas are within easy walking distance. Plakias village, with its supermarkets, shops, and restaurants, is only a 5–7 minute drive. Within a 30-minute drive, you can reach beautiful sights such as Kourtaliotiko Waterfalls, Preveli Palm Beach, and the traditional village of Spili. A highlight for us was the wild Stavri Beach — perfect for snorkeling and rock jumping (around 3 m high). The short walk there requires a bit of fitness and sturdy shoes (sneakers are better than flip-flops). The villa even has two umbrellas you can take with you for shade. Highly recommended — we would happily return.
