Beautiful view at the sea and mountains from the terrace, super-good contact with Giannis, the house owner who was very nice and helpful, fully equiped with all houseware, very clean, safe parking place, good starting point in west Crete, good taverna in vicinity. Absolutely recommend! Giannis is the one of the best hosts in Crete! 11 out of 10. Always reachable on Viber and willing to assist. Thank you, Giannis, for the genuine and warm-hearted hospitality! He has prepared a list of recommended places you could visit around - tavernas, beaches, etc. It contains hidden marvels. The tavernas in the village are picturesque and also worth visiting. Kournas fresh water lake is only 10 min car ride from there. Most of the surrounding beaches are at 5-10 min by car as well. The name of the place is well deserved. It is on the 2nd floor of the house and on the spacious terrace you could enjoy 360 degrees view of the surrounding mountains, the valley, the beaches and the bay. It is quiet. The place, and especially the kitchen, is very well equipped with everything you may need. Absolutely perfect for two families with kids. The internet is good.

The house was absolutely wonderful. Clean, tidy, spacious and with a nice view from the balcony. Each room was equipped with air conditioning, there are two refrigerators, two bathrooms, and plenty of mattresses, bed sheets and towels. I recommend it for large and medium families. The owner was helpful, kind, and respectful, in addition to being a remote tour guide via WhatsApp, restaurants and places he recommended were really good ones, concisely it was a wonderful holiday.
