Wish we could have stayed longer

Martine was a wonderful hostess who answered our questions about the nearby Van Gogh House and who booked dinner for us at a great restuarant. The breakfast was suberb with a great presentation.The beds were comfortable and the house had a warm and welcoming feeling.

Home from home. Perfect hosts for a perfect stay. We’ll be back.

Comfortable beds in a quiet bedroom with complementary dressing gowns. Although the bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor of the house it feels like a separate guest unit. Lots of nice little sweet presents and tea and coffee making facilities. Delicious breakfast with fresh eggs from their hens, savoury goodies, fruit, homemade bread, cakes, jams and spreads and more. Good freshly made coffee. Martine is an official tourist guide for the area so we got the best advice to organise our stay in the area. Not only I was allowed to stay a bit longer than expected because of a business call but as we were driving away Pascal noticed one of my tyres was down and he insisted on changing the wheel for me!

Superb

Perfect location, very nice area, amazingly friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts with homemade bread, eggs from own chicken, beautiful tableware! We’ve got so many tips of what to do around that it’s worth visiting once more, too bad we stayed for just two nights. Also very clean and tidy in the room, bathroom.

One of a kind experience you won't regret

The host was beyond nice. They were friendly and chatty without being overbearing. The house is amazing and they went out of their way to make the stay perfect. When I mentioned going to get dinner I was immediately shown menus and maps on how to get to local restaurants. The host even phoned in a reservation for me as the place I chose sometimes gets busy. The next morning when I inquired about some of the products in the bathroom, which I thought my wife would like, the host came back with a note card of product names, prices and places I could purchase them locally. The breakfast did cost extra but it was more food than I could eat, and included cake and homemade bread, so it was certainly worth it. In the room there were snacks and drinks, which were included, with additional drinks to purchase if so inclined. I honestly can't say enough good things about my stay, and would easily stay there again if in the area

La amabilidad de los anfitriones fue inigualable, nos sentimos como en casa. Se nota que todo allí se hace con cariño y atención al detalle. La habitación era amplia y limpia y el jardín era precioso. La cama super cómoda!

Martine e Pascal sono stati molto accoglienti e ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa.La camera molto carina, pulitissima e silenziosa. Molto comoda se volete visitare Mons e dintorni. Per noi consigliatissima.

Accueil chaleureux de la part de Martine et Pascal. Très bonne idée pour la mise à disposition des peignoirs. De bonnes petites attentions. Logement très bien situé dans le cadre de nos activités prévues de ce weekend.
