The location was absolutely fantastic—close to everything we needed yet still peaceful and relaxing. We truly wish we had booked a longer stay, and we will definitely be back in the future.
The accommodation itself was cosy, warm, and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having breakfast essentials provided, including fresh bread, milk, butter, and even eggs. It made our arrival feel that much more comfortable and homely.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The bed pillows were terrible.

An amazing lodge right on Loch Ness. Very clear, spacious and comfortable lodge. Such an incredible location to stay! Very close to sights but remote and quiet enough. The big surprise was the welcome basket with a few things for breakfast. I would definitely recommend it and visit again.

Really cozy cabin with lovely little touches, tucked just off the Loch - the sofa with leg resta and ricking chair were nice extras.

We only stayed for a short night but wish we had booked to stay for more, now that I know how wonderful the cottage was. I would definitely stay there forever. The quality of everything involved was apparent. Despite the short stay, there was a welcome box waiting for us and there were even fresh eggs for our breakfast, and we took full advantage of everything.
The few meters away from the main road you have to take in order to reach the final destination, is a little "uphill" and may need a bit of caution.

Lodge was perfect for us as this was a weekend break with 3 adults (mum and 2 x 20 year olds plus 2 medium sized dogs). Direct access to walking path was ideal and we used it for dog walks and runs. Kitchen was well equipped. We choose to cook in the evening after being out most of the day and was very functional. Host was amazing, really helpful and was quick to contact us to say we had left an item behind.
Nothing really. If anything the wet room wasn’t ideal as water goes everywhere from the shower but that is very minor.

A lovely well equipped lodge in a great location for our visit to the area

- Location
- Modern, very clean and nicely decorated facilities
- Welcome basket with some food, variety of coffee and games for the kids
- Apple TV
- Welcoming and nice managers/owners
Just very minor items, but still:
- bathroom (wet floor after washing since the douche is not isolated)
- the pillows were to hard (had to sleep without it)
- a bit lack of air in the living room since most of the windows in this room do not open (the issue is partially resolved with the floor air conditioner and opening the windows in all other rooms)

Nice cottage right in the middle of forest
Nothing to complaint

Great location. Very Well kept. Sufficient parking space. Quite. Close to attractions. Well supplied with fresh eggs and sourdough bread was a pleasant surprise. Comfy bedrooms. Fans provided during hot summer night. Well maintained modern kitchen. Even coffee machine and pods provided. Fast and Working Internet considering the remoteness of location. Very well thought off.
Access to Loch. Will definitely go again.

Fantastic host, really helpful. Cabin well stocked with everything we needed.
The woodland surroundings meant that it had amazing bird song all day which was super relaxing to listen too in the evening. Nice big parking space, good size rooms, plenty of fire wood for fires in the evening which was great.
Would defiantly look to stay again when we travel to the area.
Being picky here I know but the pillows were a bit to firm for me which gave me a stiff neck in the morning.
But doesn't detract from the fact it's a really super place to stay. Defiantly recommend.

A wonderfully spacious and freshly furnished cottage just a two-minute stroll from the shores of Loch Ness. The large living room and well-equipped amenities made it easy to enjoy the peaceful seclusion of the Highlands. Scenic paths lead both to the lake and into a beautifully fragrant pine forest — an ideal setting for nature lovers. Paul, the host, was very friendly and quick to respond to any issues.
The only small thing we missed was a sponge for hand-washing a few dishes without needing to run the dishwasher — but otherwise, everything was perfect.

We hired both cottages for our party.
Both were beautiful havens to come back to after a day biking/walking. Direct to Great Glen Way. We had our dog with us and not only did we get a lovely welcome pack there was a bed, towel & bowls supplied for her too!
We will be recommending to our friends and family.

Everything inside was nice and kitchen was fully equipped. Eggs, bread, spreads , juice etc was available for breakfast.
Main door and bathroom door locks were not working. I called and message on the phone number but no reply.
It took me a while to figure out how the electric shower works, more details where is the main switch is located can help.

Fabulous location with easy direct access onto Great Glen Way, as well as quick drive to Fort Augustus and lovely village of Invermoriston. Large property with everything needed
Slightly tired bathroom and memory foam pillows not comfortable (but this obvs personal choice)

Excellent facilities, very helpful host, beautiful location, highly recommended 😁
My only criticism was the memory foam pillows, I’m not a fan so a choice of pillows would have be better.

The property we were in was the Mountain View cottage it was lovely & cosy and very well equipped. The hosts left a welcome basket with essentials and some treats which was a lovely surprise and very good idea. Location was very quiet despite there being other cottages close by.

We loved the cottage. Clean. Well organised. Warm - we used the log burner. Lovely welcome basket consisting of bread, milk, eggs, snacks, coffee, etc. Lovely (partial) view of gardens and Loch Ness. Really nice owners. We enjoyed our 3 nights stay

Location was amazing, lodge was décor was nice
Lodge was nice but a bit tired looking. Bathroom wasn't very clean, double bed had no support underneath so dipped in the middle. Sofa looked nice but was not the most comfortable of sofas. A little bit of TLC and the place would be amazing!

Location is great only 100 meters from Loch Ness. Super quiet spot! Paul is a nice host and prepared some nice diaries and stuff for the fireplace at our arrival
No laundry machine but not a big issue at all

The mountain cottage is absolutely lovely, it’s nice and private, the outside is deceiving as it’s very spacious inside.
The check in process was simple, though I do prefer a key over a coded lock for extra security. However the location is quiet and tranquil and security was not an issue at all.
The host Paul was lovely, very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The welcome basket was fabulous, very well thought out and full of very useful and lovely things to get us started.
The cottage sits just in front of the Great Glen Way which was accessible directly from the property, we walked to Invermoriston and back with a lovely stop at a dog friendly cafe and had a lovely day.
The location is perfect for reaching many good spots for walks and sight seeing depending on what you wanted to do. We could have happily stayed for much longer than the 4 nights we were there.

Well appointed everything you needed was there. A nice welcome pack included. The hosts were excellent. There when you needed and absent when not.
Sadly the grandchildren did not spot Nessie but the 3 of them wanted to go again and were sad to leave. Always a good sign. The hosts sent detailed directions along with '3 words' location. We drive straight to it.
The local chippy promised gluten free fish and failed. Nothing too do with the property which was great.

A very cosy and excellently located lodge set in the forest with a gorgeous view. We had a lovely peaceful stay here with our 2 young children and baby. Lots to see and do in the surrounding areas. It was the perfect base for us to explore Invermoriston and also travel to Skye and Landmark Adventure Park in the Highlands. Paul and Nicola were excellent hosts providing us with a lovely welcome hamper consisting of food essentials and a couple of treats. The cottage was perfectly clean, cosy and had everything we needed for our few days trip. The hosts communication was great and our boys even loved meeting their dogs! Can’t recommend it highly enough.
