Great location near Port Augustus. Lovely to receive eggs, bread, milk and spreads on arrival. We messaged asking for extra hand towels and the owner came straight over with them. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is no washing machine but there are paid ones near garages and supermarkets along Loch Ness.
The bed was quite small for 2 people, although that depends what you're used to. We would have loved to sit outside but the midges were in force, that's just the time of year we were there though.

The lodge was very spacious, clean and very well well furnished. The view of the Loch through the trees was lovely. We enjoyed a walk at the Invermoriston falls which is a shirt drive from the property. We appreciated the welcome.pack.
The shower is a wet room (to make the bathroom accessible) so (of course) the whole bathroom floor was very wet after a shower, which was a bit annoying - but we understand the reason for this.

The cottage was very nice and well equipped. The owner left some fresh eggs which were excellent! They supplied some milk and bread. The view was partial as described. It was a very nice setting with access via the property to the Great Glen Way. I did check it out, but sadly didn't have time to enjoy it.
The bed was extremely hard as well as the pillows. I had to end up using a decorative pillow as a sleeping pillow. I did look back at reviews and saw others said the same thing. A mattress topper and new pillows would be a quick corrective action. The bathroom shower just had a curtain and the water went all over the floor. And a piece of molding near the shower keep falling down.
