Spacious, modern and clean. Very comfortable room. Also given access to the garden. Breakfast very good. Would recommend.

The location was perfect on a quiet little street just behind the church. Kanal is a pretty little town but off season it does not have a restaurant. We picked up some food at the supermarket and bakery. When our host found out he prepared us a wonderful supper complete with wine. Outstanding hospitality!

Property was clean very clean.

The property lacked a personal or even a communal fridge. We only had a few perishables but it was unfortunate that not even a communal fridge could have been provided. I only met one staff member there, which in and of itself is fine. I also understand that breakfast is until 10, and that my partner and I missed the timing of food. However, when I went to make myself a coffee at the coffee machine, I was told by a staff member that was there cleaning that breakfast was over and who reminded me when check out was, which wasn’t for another half hour. I felt very rushed and as if I couldn’t use the amenities provided to guests that I had paid to have access to. Overall the place was very clean with basic necessities but the little contact I had with staff was very inhospitable.
