Peaceful stay in a historic farm

Gorgeous historic farm with a lot of character near the Marne river. Our host was very welcoming. Our room very spacious with a nice sitting area. Breakfast was fantastic with goats’ yogurt and cheese from the farm. Location was great for us, travelling between Laon and Meaux.

Beautiful rural property for a short relaxing stay

We had a wonderful experience during our overnight stay in a family suite. We liked the most: - Warm welcome from the owners - Calm and relaxing surrounding, nice garden outside - Great breakfast + possibility to taste local products - very good value for the price

Peace, quiet, and goat cheese!

So glad I discovered Ferme de la Vallière! Was just what I needed to unwind. Anne was a wonderful host and Rolex (?) was the friendliest, wiggliest four-legged co-host. Not much to do in Tancrou itself, but that was fine by me. Oh, and it's a working farm with hundreds of goats (don't worry, they're quiet) and a little shop where you can buy a wide selection of their cheeses! Yum!

Beautiful place to relax

The rooms are in an imposant building (small chateau) with large garden. It was for us a journey back to another century. The building is located in a natural sorroundings, there is no traffic, no noise only birds. Our room (we were 3 people and had the suite with 2 bedrooms) was very comfortable and very clean, large rooms with high ceiling, large bed with very good mattrasse. The bathroom is newly and modern equipped (with towels, soap, etc.). The breakfast was excellent with home-made and local products. Our host was friendly and very helpful (she quickly organized us a dinner, when we arrived late in the evening). We could safely park our car in the inside yard and store our bikes in a side building. We could relax and enjoy the evening in the beautiful garden. This accomodation has a special atmosphere which is worth to visit. We are looking forward to come back again.

Close to CDG airport. A historic farm (1640) and now a goat cheese farm. A wonderful place!

Amazing place. You are greeted by the sounds of hundreds of goat kids and a happy dog named Rolex. The staff are very accommodating to make sure your stay is perfect. Breakfast includes goat yogurt and goat cheese. I'll be back for sure!

Absolutely brilliant

Magnificent buildings and exceptional hosts. We visited the farm with Anne and saw the goats being milked. the following morning with breakfast we had goat’s milk yoghurt and Apple juice all produced on the farm. Such welcoming people and lovely room. We hope to stay here again soon when we return in the summer.

Besondere Unterkunft mit Schlosscharakter und angeschlossener Ziegenfarm.

Wie ein zauberhaftes kleines Schlösschen auf dem Lande. Sehr nette Besitzerin. Absolut ruhig gelegen. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp 😉. Es gab Joghurt aus Ziegenmilch zum Frühstück- sehr lecker. Wir durften die Ziegen auch besuchen und streicheln. In der angeschlossenen fromagerie gab es tollen Käse.

Außergewöhnlich wer Ruhe und Natur sucht

Anna ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. wir hatten eine späte Anreise und nichts gegessen. Sie hat uns selbstgemachte Ziegen Käse, Baquett, Rotwein und Joghurt hingestellt. Perfekt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit separatem Zimmer für unsere Tochter. Bad komplett neu renoviert. Sehr ruhig gelegen.

Zalige locatie

Zeer warm ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Kamers zoals op de foto's; een heel mooie sprookjesachtige Franse boerderij. Zeer leuk dat we de geitenboerderij konden bezoeken. Er is een winkeltje zeer dichtbij als je iets nodig hebt. Zeer lekker ontbijt met hun eigen streekproducten. Zeker een aanrader! Wij deden het als tussenstop voor Disneyland Parijs.
