The White House Kalkan

We arrived at this Airbnb after midnight. The host waited for us patiently. I had booked three rooms with balconies, hoping we could see the ocean from them. Unfortunately, those rooms were not available because the remodeling and repair work had not been completed. There were strong storms in the past few months that caused a lot of damage to many houses, which led to a shortage of repair workers. Instead, we stayed in three other rooms. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We used their washer to do our laundry the next day. The breakfast is delicious, and we enjoyed the view from the rooftop breakfast room.

Street parking is available but a little tight.

Lovely owners and very central

A bit basic!

We spent 2 nights at The White House Kalkan which is affiliated to the Courtyard Hotel. The White House is gorgeous, very charming, in a quiet part of the Old Town. The owners and staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. The rooms were clean and bright with wooden balconies and sea views. The upstairs bar is also where you have breakfast in the morning and has wonderful sea views over Kalkan harbour. The courtyard garden area is beautiful with different places to sit. The White House is well situated in the heart of the Old Town but in a quiet part. We love Kalkan and would stay again. We are a family of four with two teenage boys. Thank you to the lovely owners for having us!

Nothing we had a lovely stay

Beautifully presented in a lovely setting. Located centrally in Old Town, close to beach, restaurants and amenities but still very quiet. Rooms were cleaned every day and had everything you needed, great attention to detail. Breakfast was lovely, owners and staff very attentive. Felt very welcomed and would definitely recommend.
