Old Kalamaki Pansiyon

Very competent, helpful, and friendly staff. We had sent out backpacks from hiking ahead of us by taxi, and she found that taxi for us and had our supplies delivered to the hotel, all without us lifting a finger. The breakfast, even by Turkish standards, was deluxe

Had a great 10 night stay. I know Kalkan, this being my third visit - and definitely won’t not my last. Arrived pretty late and was made immediately welcome. When shown to my room the air-con wasn’t working, but was fixed within minutes. That was so important for a comfortable stay as the Pansiyon is right in the old town - so the local bars and nightlife mean it can be a little noisy until around 2am. Recommend some ear plugs if you are are a light sleeper. The roof terrace was fabulous and I was pretty much the only person using it - which made this stay the bargain of the century. Lovely people; a good traditional Turkish breakfast if you want it - which I often didn’t but only because I had eaten so well the evening before! The room was basic but spotlessly clean; and the bed so comfortable - would give Lenny Henry a run for his Premier Inn money. Situated very close to the harbor and the rest of the old town this really is a gem. Am already planning my next visit.

Charming traditional coastal boutique hotel with welcoming host. Amazing views from the rooftop available for guests’ use. Location is perfect… the little street it is on looks to the sea on one and mountain on the other side making a gorgeous scenery for breakfast or coffee/chai. Rooms are small but cozy, super clean, air-conditioned, balcony. Breakfast is complimentary and traditional Turkish. You are in the middle of all the happenings so expect some noise, people are here to have fun! Free parking but call the host in advance to explain it well to you, very close, a minute walk to hotel, but gps is confusing.
