Breathtaking view and a stunning house

Absolute stunning house. We arrived at sunset and were met with a pink sky above the crashing waves that can be seen right through the house from the moment you walk in. The house has been designed to make the most of the incredible view and they sure did that well. Private beach access, jacuzzi and a pool, you wouldn’t want to leave. The house is very well furnished with everything needed for a short or long stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. 10/10 for sure.

Fourth time back i think that speaks volumes....

This is my fourth time staying at Villa Misty Cliffs which means I probably need to say no more. Location is stunning, design of the house is amazing... it looks like the new owner has made some nice upgrades in the bedrooms and the living area. The outside area is lovely and well equipped with pool and jacuzzi which is perfect for sundowners. Melody who greeted us and was our main contact was fantastic I left my apple watch charger there and she drove to Simons town to hand it over to me.! . beyond the call of duty i think. We were there during the Cape Town cycle race which added an interesting dimension to the trip.. was great watching them all cycle by with the backdrop of the beautiful misty cliffs beach. I will be coming again.. everyone i have taken there just falls in love with the place. Oh and if anyone has said about baboons in previous reviews.. it looks like they have moved on ..

There was nothing i didn't like. But I am a host too so always find feedback very helpful. The new owner has done a good job on upgrading the bedrooms and the main living area. The kitchen is a bit tired now and could do with a bit of attention and the outside area could do with some more sun loungers there were five of us and only two loungers ( I realise i am being a bit picky here) but i don't normally come in a large group so normally it doesn't matter. Someone else also said this but just some clothes dryers would be helpful so not to have to use the tumble dryers...

Beautiful Villa with fantastic view !!! Nice and quiet place. Own access to the beach. Fully equipped villa. Clean and tidy ! Fire place , jacuzzi with heater ! Welcome fruits and vine were extra surprise! Garage for the car.

Exceptional

The location is overwhelmingly beautiful. The house is located so close to the beach that if you open the doors the sounds of the surf fills all the rooms. Jacuzzi as in the photos you feel as if there is nothing but the surf and beach surrounding you. May visit was a bit cold for the pool so we stayed in the jacuzzi, walked along the beach, and visited the local village organic shop, cape of good hope, amazing to see baboons roaming along the roads. Excellents hosts, check-in and check-out were made easy.

I cannot complain about any small niggles when the overall experience was so good.

Absolutely stunning villa right on the beach with a view to die for...

My second visit to Villa Misty Cliffs and it did not disappoint.. and it's not called Misty Cliffs for nothing.. - i was taking my friends and had told them lots of positive things about the place The location is absolutely breath taking, the space enormous and all the facilities you could need. No inconvenience due to load shedding as they have their own power so never did the lights go off. Janene and Josh (property managers) were one of the best ones out of all my accommodation this trip.. they greeted us in person and answered every question i had very quickly. I would thoroughly recommend this to other prospective guests, .....after lots of travelling round i didn't really want to leave the villa it's the perfect place to just chill and relax . ideally in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun go down... - Right in the national park so expect to see animals... on the morning we left we even saw 4 otters on the beach..... it is really a very special space and very close to the penguins at Boulders and a short drive to the cape of good hope so a perfect spot if you also want to explore.. Tip! take the Chapmans Peak route if coming from CPT its absolutely stunning drive and well worth the 57 ZAR toll....

The perfect getaway

The villa is in a stunning location, peaceful, perfect views of the ocean and all the beauty it offers. The pictures don't do it justice, it is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need, it also has an inverter so it has uninterrupted power. The hostess Janene was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

Grandeur, privacy, rolling waves - and lots of sundowners!

The location of this villa is simply stupendous. It's directly on the beach, with stunning views of the coast to either side. Amazingly, the beach seems to be relatively unfrequented by locals and tourists - so you have privacy as well. It's a really addictive combination. And the interior has been cleverly designed to maximise the magnificence of the surroundings: the front door opens on to a grand descending staircase, showing double-height views through the enormous picture windows. It's quite jaw-dropping and very luxurious. And all this, with the soothing sound of waves breaking on the shore to add extra relaxation. We certainly hope to return.

We had a few problems with the internet during our stay - it seems that the main tower doesn't always kick back into action when the load-shedding starts. (The property's own back-up ensures that the house lights still function, however). For the majority of the time things were smooth, and the back-up kept the internet going 24/7: but we lost connection for more than 24 hours at the end, when we needed it most. The property manager did everything she could to help, but to no avail. So do take some good books, and fill up your Kindle, and make sure you have some data on your phone.

Tolles Haus mit großartigem Sonnenuntergang am Strand

Atemberaubende Location direkt am Meer. Wir haben am Morgen Delfine im Meer gesehen. Frühstücken kann man auch außerhalb im Nachbarort sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Elindi hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und war immer erreichbar. Vielen Dank
